I know Matthew is working at CP this year, so its possible that he has moved to Sandusky for training and has limited internet access. During my time of indentured slavery at the park, we were limited to 20 minutes of internet time with a dial-up connection. So, it might be a while.

^That scoring system is totally flawed, and biased.

First of all, a coaster should not be judged by its colors. The quality of a coaster has nothing to do with its paint scheme.

Second, a coaster does not have to have inversions. In fact, most of the top ranked coasters in the world don't have inversions. I could have a perfectly good Eurofighter without going upside down! This, along with drop, should be included with the "layout".

Loading station times- give me a break...

Scenery was not part of this contest. BUT, since it is just extra credit, I guess it's acceptable. I still don't like it though, after all, this is a "coaster" contest.

If you are going to make a scoring outline, try breaking it down into something like this:

Coaster Name & Creator:

Forces

[ ] All green- 10

[ ] Mostly green, some yellow- 7

[ ] Mostly green, some red spikes- 5

[ ] Lots of yellow g's- 3

[ ] Scattered red- 1

Total:

Layout

[ ] Flows well- 10

[ ] Smooth track/transitions- 10

[ ] Well shaped elements- 5

[ ] Good use of inversions- 5

[ ] Decent amount of Airtime- 2

Total:

Originality

[ ] Unconventional track layout- 5

[ ] Unique elements- 5

Total:

Grand Total:

What do you think?

^Yes mines suck!

Yours is more professional.

The rules state "that you must have at least two inversions" thats what I meant.

Oh well - we can all stick to yours. Its way more practical and useful.

Mine i juts made up in a minute.

Thanks for making the scoring board!

^Wow, thanks!

Sorry if I came down harsh on you about the scoring thing, I really didn't mean to! Also, I didn't realize you were required to have at least 2 inversions. I just got lucky with my coaster! lol

Extra notes: I really liked your coaster! It was very original, and really fun! What hurt you was the flow of the coaster and its transitions. The first part flowed well, but that went down the drain when you added that second lift hill . Also, there were lots of pumps, but I really couldn't figure out why. It looked good, just rode rough (wow that doesn't sound right... lol). Overall in all, it was a pretty decent ride!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see why we should be penalized for having yellow g's. That doesn't make much sense, especially when you look at the what the threshold is. A coaster without yellow g's is going to be considered "forceless" or having "floater air." It seems to me that g's shouldn't matter at all. Yellow shouldn't make a difference, and going by the rules, red should be an automatic disqualification.

Just my two bits...

^Ooh! thanks, yea. that kinda made me pissy.

I was doing all i can to fix the dang pumps!

The second part was kinda inspired by the first part of mystery mine.

Oh well, maybe if there is another EuroFighter contest, i'll do better.

*cough*

Hint Hint: Someone needs to start a "Mini-Mega Intamin Contest" ex:Piraten..

*cough*

^^It's only 3 points This is just an unofficial grading scale, which a lot of people use. Plus, I know that Matthew is picky about g's...

^We had one of those last month, lol!

Oh, I didnt know.

Crap, i shouldve joined.

Then they should start an intamin rocket; intamin inverted impulse; Intamin wooden; B&M invert contest..

I love those coasters.

Yea, matthew is picky about g's.

But eurofighters are known to be forceful and tight/quick transitions.

This isnt ballroom dancing! Whats with the scoring sheet? It has soo many gray areas one being that a coaster can be perfect in all catagories but be very lackluster but then you have one coaster that has some yellow g's (meaning its borderline super intense but its just right). I think every coaster should be judged based on that coaster and not a points system. The only way I see the points working if everyone did the exact same thing and the points are to just how well it was done by each individual. I guess i'll download all coasters and give my views...

So... after riding everyone's coaster I have decided to vote for Tony's! Not because he is Tony... Just because of all the coasters his seemed to be the longest, and it featured a lot of good elements! Tons of head choppers and inversions, not to mention the millions of helices! Over all I think everyone did an amazing job, Tonys coaster just seemed to me to be over the top and amazing! Great work everyone! The polls still have 3 more days so good luck to all of you!

Yeah, I voted for Tony's as well. Though it seemed a little too much to me, there were no excessive length restrictions. I was a bit dumbfounded by how much he was able to fit in that tiny area, and all the transitions and elements were just so smooth. I can't imagine the time it took to create that. Too much or not, I'm sure I wouldn't complain if it was a real ride. Everybody did a really great job and did some innovative things, but Tony's ride strikes me as the clear cut winner.
