Bacon cheddar hush puppies?!?!?!

Thanks for this update. Super stoked to check this out in a few weeks!

If they're anything like the hush puppies at the BGW Food & Wine Festival, they're very tasty.

Does that happen on March 23, 2019? That’s when I am going and bacon cheddar hush puppies sound very appetizing.

Sorry--doesn't start until May.

And they are.

Actually looks like it IS going on now, and March 23rd is one of the dates! Here's the landing page for the event, which says it's on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays between February 9th & May 5th.

And yes, I had those bacon cheddar hush puppies at BGW last year as well, and oh my god they are amazingly effing good. I'm going to be heading down to Orlando at the very end of this month, and knowing this information now, I'm pretty sure I'll be making SeaWorld my Friday stop.

AMEN!!! It's so dumb to me that a company (Premier) which made headlines and won awards and praise from all of us for taking OTSR's OFF of rides that didn't need it is now needlessly putting OTSR

Is this like spanking the monkeys?

The Ice Breaker animated POV looks pretty good, I think it will have a good amount of airtime and may be a surprise hit! With that being said can someone PLEASE explain to me why Premier insists on pu

Hey all. It has been awhile since I have posted photos from a Sea World visit. I believe that it had been about a year. I was able to visit the park a few weeks ago and it was by chance that the brand new Sesame Street area had just opened. This visit also marked my first experience with the new river rapids ride, Infinity Falls. I really liked Infinity Falls and was pleasantly surprised how long the ride was. I have a few notes to share with you. The ride/ride area does not open with the park. It opened an hour after the park opening. I highly recommend that you get to the ride early as the queue can get really busy later in the day. Also, make sure that you do rent a locker to put your valuables in. Everyone in the boat gets really soaked. I admit that I wore flip flops and a poncho to help from getting totally soaked. The new Sesame Street area was quite nice and I am pretty sure families will really enjoy it.

Anyways, I do have a few photos to share with you.

Good morning Manta! Manta was my first coaster ride of 2019.

I had been really looking forward to riding this. This is a great, though soaking, new ride at Sea World.

Apparently it is the tallest drop on a rapids ride.

Love "Scramilton"!

But I'm a bit disturbed by "Bearspray." I don't think I want any spray from a bear.

Or is that "Bears Pray"?

Free Beer Is Back This Summer at SeaWorld Orlando!

The company announced the fan-favorite promotion will return in June during Tuesday’s earnings call during which it reported that SeaWorld parks’ attendance and revenue rose for the fifth straight quarter.

Orlando-based SeaWorld Entertainment’s attendance jumped by nearly 4 percent -- or by about 100,000 people -- to about 3.3 million guests for the first quarter while the company operated at a $37 million net loss, an improvement from the same time last year when the loss reached $63 million. Total revenues increased 2 percent to nearly $221 million.

SeaWorld did not say when in June the free beer would begin or if it would be the same two-per-customer, 7-ounce pours as last year...

It appears that SeaWorld Orlando have teased us with a new roller coaster today! What do you think this could be?

Considering that SeaWorld San Diego is getting a B&M Dive in 2020, I would be very surprised if SeaWorld Orlando did too. Although I suppose some type of package deal is possible?

The video definitely suggests height/big drop, and that doesn't align much with the family launched coaster concept we've heard about recently. I'm definitely going to follow this!

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it's a dive coaster, and some doubt it because of SheiKra at Busch... but remember, B&M doesn't have a monopoly on that kind of coaster anymore... maybe a ride similar to HangTime at Knott's?

I won't link to the page/site but Google will show you site plans leaked for this a whole ago. Have you all forgotten that? It's definitely not a B&M dive. Try to keep up yall...

(Its a Premier launcher ala YOLO on the lake near Wild Arctic/Shamu Stadium)

So the "dive" portion could really just be the vertical drop of a top hat straight into iceberg theming or something.

I'm not sure how it even alludes to a dive necessarily. "Plunging thrills". Pretty much all coasters have a plunge and thrills.

Also, I'm not saying its necessarily Premier either, but the site I am referring to seems to have come to that conclusion. I do recall this supposedly being an Intamin when it was first rumored, so if we're theorizing its going to be a B&M dive because of the San Diego Mako, why couldn't this be Premier and/or Intamin? They're working with Intamin at BGW and they've worked with Premier a whole bunch the last few years. I feel like a B&M dive is a bit too lazy/on the nose.

The layout I saw seemed like it transfer tracked into a launch that went half way up then backwards launched up a spike then completed the layout. That could be the plunge the reference?

Good to see SeaWorld getting back into the game. Now that I've been to one of their parks, I have been pleased with all of their rides and shows. Quality stuff. It's a fun place, and I'm so happy they're focusing on fun again.

I believe that the Premier Rides rumor started with that leaked presentation, it showed the rough concept layout with cars that were set up 6 seats, 3 cars, leading to a three-car Premier Sky Rocket train.

Personally, the "immediate sideways transfer out of the station" makes me think that it's a Mack coaster, considering that's exactly what happens on Star Trek Operation Enterprise at Movie Park Germany.

Mack has been doing some amazing things recently, and I feel like a lot of enthusiasts have been overlooking them, just because in North America we've basically only seen their wild mouse coasters up to this point. Time Traveler is awesome, and I've heard good things about Copperhead Strike too, so it seems business may be picking up over here. I couldn't be happier.

^The teaser video clearly uses the word “coaster”. Falcons fury is not a roller coaster even by people that use that term in the most liberal of ways. Seaworld made it very clear that we should 100% be expecting a roller coaster.
