AMEN!!! It's so dumb to me that a company (Premier) which made headlines and won awards and praise from all of us for taking OTSR's OFF of rides that didn't need it is now needlessly putting OTSR

Is this like spanking the monkeys?

The Ice Breaker animated POV looks pretty good, I think it will have a good amount of airtime and may be a surprise hit! With that being said can someone PLEASE explain to me why Premier insists on pu

I don't know about the rest of you, but to me it really seems like the biggest mistake SeaWorld is making lately is how much they are promoting their rescue, care and conservation for their animals and orcas.

Look, SeaWorld, we get it...Blackfish was a load of crap and anyone who isn't a pro-peta activist knows this. We realize this was a huge upset and people are making claims that aren't true, and you guys are fully in the right to defend yourself. We support that. But you guys are a THEME PARK and you need to start acting like one again! Instead of constantly tweeting about your new orca habitats coming in 2018 or whenever, how about tweeting about how awesome your Manta roller coaster is? Or how much fun your dolphin show is? Or how cool it is to hang out with your family at your theme parks?

If you look at SeaWorld's Twitter feed over the last few months, you would have NO IDEA AT ALL that they were a theme park, and instead you'd think they are some sort of animal conservation group, and that's ALL they are. I feel like SeaWorld has completely lost touch with the fact that they are a theme park and their recent message totally reflects this.

Remember "Sea of Surprises?" Yeah, neither do we! This was supposed to be their huge 2014 promotion. When was the last time they promoted it?

Look, I love SeaWorld and I 100% stand by them. But they need to remember what they are and get back to those roots. Quickly!

I agree 100% with you, Robb. The parks are trying to "tell their side of the story" and understandably so, but while doing that they lost sight of the fundamentals of their business, Theme Park Operations.

Put your flippers together for the all-new sea lion and otter show coming to SeaWorld Orlando Spring 2015. You’re going to love the humorous tale of “Clyde and Seamore’s Sea Lion High.” It’s filled with amazing animal behaviors and fun audience interaction as Clyde and Seamore go back to school in slippery pursuit of their diplomas. From the hilarious, high-energy hijinks, Clyde and Seamore emerge as heads of the class. Don’t miss “Sea Lion High,” new at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld Orlando has sent us a press release regarding the new show!

The comedic sea lion duo, Clyde and Seamore, star in SeaWorld Orlando’s newest show, “Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High,” opening spring 2015.

It’s a hilarious tale, filled with amazing animal behaviors and splashy audience fun. Clyde and Seamore find themselves in slippery pursuit of their high school diplomas and judging from the slapstick, high-energy pranks and hijinks, there’s no doubt Clyde and Seamore will emerge as heads of their class.

When joined by mischievous otters, a 2,300-pound walrus and a cast of goofy human characters swimming along in the fun, it certainly won’t be a normal class.

“We love putting together a new show,” said Todd Coffman, SeaWorld Orlando’s lead trainer for “Sea Lion High.” “It’s a chance for us to try out the new behaviors we’ve been working on with our sea lions, otters and walrus. And the trainers love showcasing these awesome animals and their incredible abilities.”

It’s the last day of school at Sea Lion High and both Clyde – the school’s top math whiz – and Seamore – the school’s sports hero – are nominated to win scholarships to Sea Lion University. But Trip, who’s the school’s self-appointed varsity star and resident tough guy, has different plans. It turns out Clyde and Seamore haven’t completed all their classes and only have one day to finish them!

Clyde, Seamore and their friends lead the audience on a wild and heroic adventure as they finish their classes with typical sea lion flair. And the audience might uncover a thing or two along the way, following Sea Lion High’s motto, “Education through Exploration and … Imagination.” “Our guests will have a great time at the new show, but they’ll also learn about the relationships our trainers have with each sea lion, otter and walrus. And seeing these animals up-close provides each guest with an opportunity to connect and be inspired by them,” Coffman said.

“There are several sea lions in the cast of ‘Sea Lion High’ and each of them bring something special to their role, because their personalities are so different. There’s Seamore, who’s the Einstein of sea lions and who looks at every challenge as something to be conquered. Clyde, is big, strong and loyal but always a little silly. He doesn’t take things too seriously. Imagine working with this cast of characters, from Opie Otter who weighs only 10 lbs., to Sir Winston Walrus who tips the scales at 2,300 lbs., and sea lions that weigh about 550 lbs. That’s a lot of star power on one stage,” Coffman said. “Every day and every show will be a different experience.”

The production team for “Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High” is full of star power, too. BT McNicholl, who’s handling directing and co-writing duties, is a Broadway vet, currently working on “Cabaret” and recently “Billy Elliott” and “Sunday In The Park With George.” McNicholl also directed several of SeaWorld’s shows including the holiday-themed “O Wondrous Night” at SeaWorld Orlando. Court Watson is scenic designer for “Sea Lion High” and is bringing an all-new set to the park’s Sea Lion & Otter Stadium. Randy Rogel is penning the script and original songs, using his experience from TV’s “Animaniacs” and “Batman.”

“Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High” opens spring 2015 at SeaWorld Orlando.

Nice pictures, looks like a great event!

Does the SeaWorld Monopoly come with a card that says "There are protesters outside your park, the public are ignorantly buying it, attendance is dropping" and you loose money??

^I think the card you mentioned replaces the "Go to Jail" card in the original game.

They were selling the SeaWorld Monopoly game at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, too. Looks like another great Christmas event for the Orlando parks.

Looks like a fun event! The Christmas decorations really make the park look nice. One of these days I'd love to visit Sea World during the holidays.

Sea World never dissapoints at Christmas time. We love the sea of trees show and my son can't get enough of The Polar Express. This park has been a long time favorite of mine since the 1980's and I never grow tired of it. I pray for a properous year ahead for Sea World and her sister parks. May the Blackfish folks and supporters disappear like a fart in the wind.

Has anyone heard about this idiot who is tryting to sue Sea World over pass renewal? He said he knew nothing about passes automatically renewing unless you tell them not to and he was charged $35 a month when it renewed. I knew when I got my pass that it renews unless you halt it. He wants to sue for 5 million dollars. Tell me this isn't some nut trying to get rich off the parks. I think he was an idiot for not reading the fine print when buying a pass.

Yea, pretty ridiculous. I doubt it will fly, but who really knows. I know plenty of people that hope SeaWorld keeps their policy, as a friend of mine is still paying $9 a month for his pass (I think it may be the Platinum Pass, that's how old it is!). Regardless, it's in the contract, and I believe explicitly stated when you do use the monthly payment program...

As for me, I just bought 2 passes when they were BOGO, so no problem with the monthly payment program haha. I just hope they do the deal next year as well!

I looked over the Ezpay description on their site and it does clearly state that the plan will renew automatically unless the customer stops payments. So I think this will not get far since it is stated on the website. I can't believe this guy was going to sue for $5 million. That alone smells of a greedy knucklehead to me.

He wasn't suing for $5M for himself, but rather a Class-Action suit for all SeaWorld AP's...
