JRHcoasterki
^CF tends to take Fast Lane of their parks websites during the off-season. But yeah it will still be available next season!
JJnCFL
Great to see the final bent on the drop completed! The station is already well on it's way up and the transfer/brake run should all be up in no time as they're already getting the bents made for those. Also glad to see the map stay the way it is for now, also curious to see the path leading to the Pictorium as well, at least it still lives on in the maps.. Â It's actually called the "Star" Tower Wow when did they change it? I'm guessing the same year as the Flight Deck/Drop Tower name changes? I think that was the last year I went to the park. It got repainted in 2003 when Paramount Parks changed their logo with the "big to little swooping stars" effect, which was also painted on the bottom of the cabin: Star Tower Cabin PGA Logo 2003-2006
cmullin
^ I would assume so, but they don't let you purchase the Fast Lane for a while, but I would keep checking the website periodically. Also, if you go on a weekday during the months of May, June, and possibly July, you most likely wouldn't need the Fast Lane. Just my thoughts. azza29
^Thanks. The plan is to hit up the park on May 12, only in SF area for 4 days so just going when I can. Don't know if the fact that it'll be Mothers' Day will do anything to crowd levels, but if Gold Striker has only just opened I imagine it might be fairly busy anyway. Angry_Gumball
^Mothers Day last year was also a 'bring a friend at a heavily discounted price' day last season, so I can anticipate that crowds may be a bit heavier than a normal weekend visit. We actually went on one of those discount days (and just so happened that a fellow TPR member was going to meet up with us for the first time, so I got him in at the discount price) and that day was packed. To be fair though this was mid summer, was also AAA day, and there were a dozen company events going on. That day consisted of an insanely packed park. CGA_88
Kind of hard to tell when comparing it to previous maps, but it looks like Kidzville River Adventure is no longer there. Guess we'll have to see on opening day.
invisibleinthedark
^ It also seems that the event tent/slaugtherhouse is missing. We all know it's still there but could there be something planned for the future?

Double0Kevin
They need to take the train's old tunnel under Demon off of the map... Â Why? It's still there. You're mad cause the map is accurate? Â The park posted this today on their Facebook. Was this section painted last year or is this fresh? The track looks great. Can't wait to get back on Flight Deck in a couple weeks. Â

Blue Fire Guy
It still has that "Hello. I'm a really, REALLY intense ride!" look to it, and fittingly so. Looking forward to riding it again, its 20th anniversary is coming up!

Double0Kevin
^ I know the photo is new. I was asking about the paint. Â That was painted last year. The supports however look untouched/faded. Angry_Gumball
Yea, faded FD is one of the few coasters that still look great! I too didn't realize FD is going to be 20 this year. Runs great for its age

Hopefully the rest of the coaster will get painted for the 2014 season. I hope this'll happen too. It still looks really awesome even today, but one just cannot deny that a new, lustrous obsidian-black paint job for the rest of the coaster would be sexy as hell. JJnCFL
FD & Stadium harmonizing as one.. WIth all the new paint this season, I have a pretty good feeling more coaster paint will be put on for next season, hopefully. Also noticed the Kidzville River Adventure gone from the map as well, had a lot of fun memories playing with those boats when I was a kid 20+ years ago...
Angry_Gumball
I honestly don't have many memories with the boats, other than on my 6th grade trip...I see "Scooby's Haunted River" only to find it's just a little play thing you watch inflatable boats go down. On the other hand, I miss the ever-so-massive (at the time) Fort Fun...the ball pits, cargo nets, suspension bridge, slides, and zip lines. That alone as a kid would have kept me busy for hours! Â So we were looking at the park maps comparing the 2013 to the 2012 map and noticed some adjustments that had to be made to fit Gold Striker. Star Tower and Pictorium were moved to the right quite a bit. The space where Celebration Swings sits now looks massive (probably doesn't help that the planter boxes and such aren't present on the map) Â Nevermind the fact that this is a 2003 map, the Star Tower area has pretty much been the same until now: Â Â And the now shifted over tower and pictorium: Â Not really nitpicking, just making some observations on what they had to do to get GS to fit in there
ryanm09
I dont see much change besides some land and the building moved. Â Its crazy how nice FD looks now. I never noticed how faded it was.
