Like I said that Ka isn't the fastest any more, and she said I was wrong. I find it even more funny seeing how she came to me knowing I like coasters.

Hello let me start by saying Six Flags New England is my home park and i've been going there all my life. I remeber, the race track the haunted boat ride and the water slide's that stood where blizzard river lives. the park has many fun meomrires for me so a feel i must chim in on this Bizarro Transformation.

A little setting up is in order to capture my overall disappointment. In 2002 Batman was built. In my opinion a little short but a amazing ride. A great addition to the park, and second best to superman. Than nothing. the park built pandemonium, 4 years later a kiddie coaster at best, al thought still a great ride it did little for us thrill seekers. So 2008 creeps around and I hear where getting a new coaster. I found out its a another kiddie coaster that also happens to be going into Six Flag's New Jersey,Six Flags New Englands sister park. Disappointed but ill take anything. Well i din't even get that due to who know's what, the coaster was never built. so 2009 rolls around and i can feel the a mega coaster coming on. much to my shock I hear instead there transforming superman. THan I died a little on the inside. why poor all this money into changing something that dosent need to be changed when they could build a new coaster???? A question I still do not have the answer too.

Finally on to bizaro. After all this i still had hope. I walked in to the park on bizzro's third day. I was very excited and hoping to be impressed. I wasn't. Bizzaro theming is a joke. Cardboard cut outs and a purple track. I hoped sixflags would of stepped up their themainig but the bizarro back story is confusing and if i wasn't a comic book fan i would have know idea what was going on. The line contains a few back stories but there hard to read and nobody seemed to be paying attention to them.There was a TV that was off and the staio was acutally clearly spray painted! I felt upset and confused by the lack of improvments.I hope the onboard speakers would explain more.

Still clining on to my hope as we got to the statiin. Just hoping that the on board audio would connect the dots. Wrong!!! The sound is mostly noise and random quotes most of witch have nothinig to do with superman or bizarro.Will ferral quotes and goonies saying's, don't help when theming a superman ride. The worst part was the random bizaro chants a the end of the ride. all this said, the theming is actually worse than it was before. At least people know who superman is!!!!

They have allot of nerve calling Bizaro a new ride when they actucally took the one of the best coaster in the world and made it worse. The train s feel more restritive than ever,and you cant even share the ride with a friend because all you hear is a loud sound track playing. Might as well be sitting next to a total stranger. The trains are slower and know the line is even longer , because they took a row of seats out. The fire whitch at first i thought was cool is only really noticable in line. Overall i left feeling dissapointed. IM not tryinig to be negative Superman is still a great ride they should of just left well enoght alone.

Six flags new englands locker demands highter prices and no new rides really dont make me want to go back. I feel bad for buyinig a season pass. Thanks allot six flags new england. Bizaro was a mistake build a new coaster!!!!!

i seriously think SF business dept. is retarded or something. they just decided out of the blue to build a new park in dubai, and they are supposed to be getting a new coaster next year for magic mountain from what ive heard. they really arent the smartest company financial wise. as long as kentucky kingdom doesnt close ill be happy tho lol. but i demand they add more rides to the park

 

lol pretty much we haven't received a new ride other then a waterpark ride in the last 6 years. well i didn't know they was licensing it to that guy over there. i just saw on their site they was building it. seriously wherever u all go u get new rides we have to endure the same boring crap every year . seriously u would think the same thing if u had only KK to go to. and as far as i can tell their management hasn't been doing aything different then they always do, and my grammar is fine, thats the way we talk where im from.

 

Sorry jeez its just the way my family only, basically, talks when they send messages and stuff so its a habit.

 

Thanks for the link by the way. I didn't really keep track of the Dubai park since its not a US park. I just heard about it and thought they was crazy for doing, without knowing specifics. I guess that explains things.

So far at KK i think they are really making some attendance increases but its not like it used to be. I'm really worried we might lose KK even if its not a good park its still Louisville's only place for fun and its the only other park other then beech bend so they better figure something out in this renegotiating.

 

^ Same. They do have some smaller parks they could sell that really suck. Actually i just remembered they are doing that as we speak, The back half of KK where Twisted twins and the log ride are closed for 2 years to help with the money problem.

 

But didn't the NYSE remove the Six Flags corp. from all trading activity as a result of chapter 11?

 

Haha hopefully Cedar Fair would pick up some.

Hello all in theme park review land! I am the legendary "KING OF THE FLUMERS" and as you have gathered WATERSLIDES ! are my thing and i am the uks no1 waterslider. My "HOME GROUND" is "AQUASPLASH" LEISUREWORLD HEMEL HEMPSTEAD where i am the "HONORARY RESIDENT FLUMER" and have been so since it opened over 10 years ago! AQUASPLASH, is a fairly modest indoor waterpark of only 6 units which are; "LAZY RIVER/DRAG RACE" "MULTISLIDE" "FALLING RAPIDS" "TYRE RIDE"( currently out of commission awaiting works) "superflume" and"SPACE BOWL"(one of the original "STUART LEISURE" models, as the space bowl is a BRITISH INVENTION!) my performances on spacebowl are unique and legendary in their own right as i have an extrordinary technique that no one else has the ability to master which consists of sliding around the bowl SIDEWAYS! besides performances at aquasplash i also perform on waterslides all over the uk and next week i will be at BUTLINS MINEHEAD! and on the return i will be visiting various places along the way including the historic "DOMEBUSTERS" waterslides at THE OASIS SWINDON (which is the uks oldest working waterslides built way back in 1985 and are still going strong! Besides actual performances on waterslides i am also the uks leading waterslide historian and have a unique knowlege of waterslide history and know many of the famous flumemakers and their works. are there any other dedicated waterslide enthuiasts in theme park review land? as i believe i am unique as i have yet to find someone else who can equal my unique achievements in the waterslide world! as i have yet to find another waterslide king! Edit: To add something productive to this thread, here's a theory on how KW will keep the lines short on their new coaster

Maybe they plan to not promote it as much as they normally would. That way less people get in line for it, just a guess.

Look at the bright side everyone. Summer is almost over and many of our "not forum savvy" tykes will be back in school.

 

They will further their education and become more well rounded human beings. They will become bored with coasters and amusement parks in the off-season and we can hold out hope that when they have free time and return next summer they will be more productive posters.
