They must have zoomed in on the station for us to watch them test soon? i mean there for 1 taking the grey supports off, trackwork is completed. electrical work etc should be done soon hopefully. Soon will we see tests?

They most likely zoomed in on the station so we could see how that construction is coming along. They will need to finish the pedestrian bridge at the entrance before any testing occurs.

They mean tallest and fastest of coasters between 300 and 400 feet, not overall tallest and fastest.

Did anybody see on the parks twitter/instagram? they are putting these octagon shaped near miss "supports" at the bottom in the tunnel under the brdge

I'm going to assume, based on your post, that you aren't looking forward to Fury very much?

 

Seriously, how can a dedicated roller coaster enthusiast NOT be excited about this massive coaster? Even if it isn't a top-10 coaster (which it probably won't be), it still looks a heck of a lot of fun! I would absolutely ride it if I made it to the Carolinas and some point in the future.

If you look carefully you can see a bridge over the track:

that might just be the plates that they will put concrete onto, but still its quite exciting to see it closer to completion, that means we can start testing soon!

Ummm...Its pretty much confirmed. Lights are a given but fog was said no plans but it will be looked into...

Carowinds tweeted this picture of the beginning of the construction of their Slingshot. Looks like it will be located next to Vortex.
