In that video, the people on the lift hill look really small. It really reminded me how large this thing is.

 

Also, the shot at the end where it shows you the drop, WOW, that is amazing.

I never noticed from all the promotional videos that the first turn around was more of a flat turn, unlike Leviathan which is more of an over naked turn.... This thing is really going to be a great ride, one that seems to offer a few variations from Leviathan, making it for a different ride! So excited for July when I get down there to ride it!

^I think the sheer height of these rides puts more people off riding it than inversions would.

 

Height scares people. Imagine if you would put inversions on it as well.

Looking ahead as well, they need to finish the tunnel area before they can place track... Is it possible that they would skip that section and come back to it at the end? I know they said that construction would continue through the course, but this hiccup makes sense in my mind....

I don't see why not. I think it's very possible that they'll even start at the brake run and work backwards allowing more site work to go on around the new entrance/tunnel before laying more track there.

So, I'm guessing there will be no construction this week. I just hope the coaster will still be ready on time for opening weekend.

As someone who works on a lot of construction projects, I can assure you that the Holidays are taken into account when planning the schedule. They're well on track to having it ready for opening day.

I love how they created that funky 91-degree transition into the drop. It's not something B&M normally does...but that's a good thing!

Yes, I was surprised by that too, it really doesn't seem like B&M would do, but I'm glad they did it! I think that will be a high point in the ride.
