bobafett
Big Mike, just be careful down in South Carolina this weekend with Hurricane Hannah hitting the east coast this weekend. I don't know what day you are going but it is supposed to make land fall early Saturday morning. Have a safe trip!----Bobbi Jo

carolinacaniac
Based on the latest projections, Hannah will be about even, if not past my part of NC in the morning on Saturday. It may just end up being a really wet day. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing what the Big Mike Roadshow is all about! printersdevil78
Man, hurricanes really blow! (I'll give you a moment to wrap your mind around that one.) I just canceled my appointment this weekend with the Big Mike Road Show because of Hanna. While the storm should be gone by the time Big Mike gets to Hard Rock Park, I would end up having to drive right through it on Saturday morning at what is now predicted to be its peak in order to get there on time  At least the hotels were good about refunds when I had to cancel. Apparently I'm not the only one who decided not to visit Myrtle Beach this weekend. Go figure.
Monkey King
Hate to be the one to break this to you Mike but Hard Rock Park will be closed this coming weekend due to the impending storm.   (Myrtle Beach, SC – September 4, 2008) – Based on the National Weather Service issuing a hurricane watch for Horry County and the most recent advisory from Horry County Emergency Management, Hard Rock Park will be closed Friday, Sept. 5 thru Sunday, Sept. 7. TheRapidsNerd
Big Mike, Man you don't know how bad I wanted to come out to HRP and hang out, but time at work and other stuff just won't allow. Seems the storms are the final "No". Â If you think there's a time you'll be at Dollywood/Gatlinburg, SFKK, SFoG, Lake Winnie, or Visionland (Kidding), I'll do my best to be any of those places. Â Good luck with the travel plans and best to you.
Big Mike
Hey Friends!!!   I figure with the big storm coming over the weekend and Coney Island closing down, I am betting tonight will be the last day of operation.  Since Hard Rock Park gave me the shaft by closing all weekend, plus I have a hot babe that called me up and said she always wanted to see Coney Island and now it is closing, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 will divert the caravan and head to Coney Island tonight!!!  Of course, I will try to persuade my hot babe date to also stop at Adventurers to get that one credit that was not open earlier in the year, and also see if Kids N Action is still open too!  Also, "Operation First Kiss" on top of Deno's Wonder Wheel will be put into motion tonight with the hot babe also!!! Wish me luck   See you all at Coney Island tonight to pay our final respects!!!   Peace, Big Mike
lil jimmy norton
Damn, I'm five minutes away from Coney Island, and I can't go tonight. I would have definitely loved to make an appearance in the Big Mike Road Show.
Big Mike
Hello Friends!!! Â Continuing along on The Big Mike Road Show 2008 Heart of America Tour, this stop is North Little Rock Funland!!! Â This is another park that is not listed on the Theme Park Review directory! Â The Theme Park Review Directory says it has reviews of over 400 parks, and with Big Mike's help this trip, now they can boast 408 Â Hope you enjoy! Â Â Peace, Big Mike OK, that was a lie too but there is only so much excitement you can put into a report from a closed park BUT, now we can add this park to the directory too! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike Now this is NOT a lie. I started this baby right up and took a lap around the park! Well the last few pictures were a lie, but it made for a good story! I noticed this train as I was leaving. Credit #694 for Big Mike! I had to take a picture of me riding for proof! BAM! The coaster comes to life and after doing a few laps, I have to jump in as it is moving! I KNEW I would fit! I notice that the power shutoff was unlocked and with one pull on the lever, the power is on! I wonder if I could start it since no one is here to catch me? There is absolutely no one in the park at all, no security whatsoever. Since I had free roaming priveledges throughout the park, I figured I would take some pictures of the other rides for The Big Mike Readers. Here is a car. I just know I could have fit in there except for the lake on the seat. Here is the train. Here is an overview of the whole track. There is a 42 inch, 90 pound weight limit to ride, which after a few phonecalls before the trip, I had permission to take a lap before it broke down. This ride is so intense, there is a 2 back to back ride limit! The Wildcat! The Wildcat is closed, along with 2 other rides. There are not many rides here to begin with. Here is the park map, which included a lot of other fun stuff in the park. They run a very limited schedule and I knew they would be closed for my visit, but Big Mike needed to do his part to make Theme Park Review even better! Here are the prices. Notice if there was a TPR trip here, you could get a discount! North Little Rock Funland!
Mr. Starr
$39 for a season pass? Heck, you could rebuild that whole park in your backyard for $39!
Big Mike
Hey Friends!!!   Opening Sunday in the NFL, and that means only one thing, its time for Big Mike to make some serious cash by winning again in Fantasy Football!   Big Mike has made a living off Fantasy Football and has paid for his TPR trips off the losers that compete against him   This year will be no exception!   Just for kicks, Big Mike will give you some lock city picks just in case you want to bet some friends!  Big Mike does not condone gambling, but if you want to bet food, braggin rights, or sexual favors with someone, then I will be glad to help you out!   Todays lock city picks from Big Mike are:   Arizona (-2 1/2) over San Francisco  Miami/Jets over 36 points.   Tease those babies up and collect your sexual favors!!!   I will keep everyone posted on Big Mike's progress in Fantasy Football!   Peace, Big Mike Big Mike, funding his TPR Trips through his superior knowledge of Fantasy Football!!! larrygator
Todays lock city picks from Big Mike are:   Arizona (-2 1/2) over San Francisco  Miami/Jets over 36 points.  If you feel like posting your starting Fantasy Roster and that of your opponent feel free. I'm sure everybody at TPR would like to cheer on your players during the games versus just hearing afterwards about how big a "winner" you are.  In the Special Olympics everyone is a winner, also. mcbrizzle
He did get the Arizona one right and woulda been 2 for 2 if the Jets kicker didn't get hurt! He missed a 30 yder which would have made it 37.
larrygator
^50% is not winning. It's actually a losing proposition, especially on "locks".
Big Mike
Hey Friends!!!  Todays lock city picks from Big Mike are:   Arizona (-2 1/2) over San Francisco  Miami/Jets over 36 points.   Tease those babies up and collect your sexual favors!!!   I will keep everyone posted on Big Mike's progress in Fantasy Football!   Peace, Big Mike    Hey Friends!!!!  I know a lot of you still don't know Big Mike and the power and wisdom he has in all football in general.  Let it be known now that when BIG MIKE says it is LOCK CITY, IT IS LOCK CITY!!  I understand a lot of you don't understand football betting, so let me explain the above bet.  I picked two games, and I told you to TEASE them! Look above!  A tease bet is when you take two bets and you have to win BOTH to get money!  Since you have to win BOTH, you are allowed to move the point spread in your favor.  2 teams - 6 points. 3 teams - 9 points. 4 team teaser - 12 points.  Thus with my two team teaser, the actual bet looks like this moving it 6 points:  Arizona +3 1/2 over San Fransisco.  Jets/Dolphins over 30.   The FINAL scores:  Arizona 23, San Fransisco 13. Adjust the tease and I win 26 1/2 to 13.  Jets 20, Dolphins 14 - total 34. Adjust the tease to 30 and the over wins.   Thus, that is two for two and Big Mike has paid for 1/12 of the TPR trip already!!!   Lock City means Lock City!!!!!   Hope some of you jumped on the guarenteed sexual favors!!!   Peace, Big Mike da Man
BeemerBoy
^ I actually understood what you meant, but you should've given the detailed explanation before the betting started, Mike. Think of all the TPR members you left sleeping on the couch instead of with the hot babes. Don't tease your followers like that!
