Big Mike
Hello Fantastic Friends!!! Just in time for the weekend getaways, its a whole new batch of hidden Mikestery Treasure Hunt Cards for everyone to find!!! Before we reveal where they are, I want to aplogize to Edward for his wild goose chase. I am trying feverously to get page #1 on this thread caught up so that there will be a constant up to date standings on which Mikestery Crads have been found and which ones are still out there. We have also run into the problem of Big Mike not totally figuring out how to get everyone to post thier pictures with the cards when they are found. People do say they found them sometimes, but it gets buried deep in the pages of this monster thread. There is also a clause that a few people may be using that says if you found the most cards, you will get a free pass on one element, so people are holding cards waiting to decide if they need to use the free pass or can enter twice with another family member. Big Mike is learning as we go on how to avoid this pitfalls next time! SO IF SOMEONE HAS A MIKESTERY CARD AND HAS NOT POSTED A PICTURE YET, GET TO IT!! LOL Here are the 4 Mikestery Treasure Hunt Cards hidden last weekend, all in Virginia! Peace, Big Mike Clue #6 THERE IT IS!!! Good luck everyone! Raging Rapids. Revolution. Eagle's Flight. Scenery. Freedom Train. Doggone Trail. Star Spangled Carousel. Paul Revere's Midnight Ride. Indian River. Salmon Run. Scarecrow Scrambler. Reindeer Games. Prancer's Merry Go Round. Blitzen's Airplanes. Comet's Rockets. Dasher's Sea Horses. Holiday World's complete ride lineup: Dancer's Thunder Bumpers This was the afternoon shift to keep The Big Mike Road Show company. We had a lot of fun all day long, and we actually had seperate shifts of people. This was the morning shift to keep the Big Mike Road Show company. Craig wanted to dedicate this to Mr. Moose! Rough Riders. The only coaster that you can actually get an overview of at the park. Train. The Howler! Train. Knowing that, the Raven gets my respect with double Raven signs. The #1 coaster on the planet back in 2003! Raven! Lift. Train. Legend! Choices. We worked up a thirst, so it is nice of Holiday World to give out free drinks. The answer = seniority. "Why do I have to ride all by myself?" Liberty Launch. Here are some other rides we rode that day: Gobblers Getaway. Here is the final part of the ride and The Voyage in the back. Pilgrims Plunge never opened all day long Boat. Lift. Overview. The other reason I was here was to ride the new ride Pilgrims Plunge! Credit #766 for Big Mike! Editors Note - Since people were asking for my thoughts on The Voyage, here it is: I have been lucky enough to ride The Voyage, Balder, and El Toro all this year. With how they are running this year, I will have to go with this: 1. The Voyage 2. Balder 3. El Toro Eric and Big Mike. Eric and Big Mike take a front row seat. Adam. Adam takes a front row ride. Craig and Gage take a front row ride. Lift. This is as close as we got to an overview picture since all the coasters here are off in the woods. Big Mike only needed one credit here, his first ride ever on The Voyage! and Jared (Reon) Eric (Emiroo) Adam (spaceace12) Gage (Iggyskid) Lets introduce the stars of tonights episode of The Big Mike Road Show: Craig (Iggyace) Prices. Proof. Maybe I will be up there next year as Holiday World is Big Mike Approved! Owner Pat Koch must have been tipped off on our pending arrival as she was waiting for The Big Mike Road Show to arrive with open arms. Holiday World! spaceace12
"Why do I have to ride all by myself?" That ride has been a menace to me...I could fit on it last year, but not this year. Way too many pictures of me, you got sneaky.
Reon
It was about time you started to upload the memorial day trip...Once again, I had an awesome time meeting up with the Big Man and co, but its too bad I got there so late and couldn't tag along to Beech Bend do to a few economical and parental issues... Cant wait til you post the KI/CI trip!
LJGoBlue
Great TR as always, Big Mike. Holiday World looks really nice. I really want to go there sometime soon to get on The Voyage seeing as how I loved RF2, which is the only other TGG coaster I have been on. Jojo19799
Holiday World is another park I have yet to go to, along with Indiana Beach. I am really kicking msyelf now for not meeting up with you at those parks. At least I was able to meet up with you at SFGAM though.
STR8FXXXINEDGE
Awesome TR, Big Mike! I LOVE Holiday World! I'm glad that you finally got a chance to ride Voyage. I must say that I'm surprised by your ranking of it, though. Not that I would argue with it, but it still surprises me. I guess it's due to other people's ranking after riding the other two. I have not ridden Balder, so I can't rank that, but I always have trouble trying to decide if I like Voyage or El Toro better.

Emiroo
..And once again my attempt to not look like a moron in pictures has failed miserably! Also, I just wanted to say: If you’ve ever wondered if tagging along with the BMRS is really as fun as it looks, I can assure you it is! I had a great time slaying Mike’s Voyage virginity! Let me tell you, Big Mike can ride. A single lap on The Voyage can easily wind even season veterans, but even on the third consecutive ride the big man kept his hands up the entire time! I’m still bummed that we didn’t get to Plunge, but that’s kind of been par for the course so far this season. I hope I was a suitable guide through HW for you guys. It’s my home park and I like to think I know all of its ins and outs. I also had a great time meeting/riding with Adam (Spaceace12), Jared (Reon), Craig (IggyACE) and his son Gage (Iggyskid). I gotta give a special shoutout to Gage. Not many 6th graders could so seamlessly blend in with a group of (mostly) middle-aged men, but he did. He was no wallflower when it came to the conversation or riding either. I was impressed. And Craig said something while we were waiting in line for The Legend that really stuck with me. He said, “A lot of people make the mistake of thinking this hobby is all about the coasters or the rides. Really, it’s more about the people you meet and the people you ride with.” He’s right on the money. Because even though it was great to ride with some fellow TPRs, I had an even better time just getting to know them and talking non-enthusiast stuff with them. Thanks again guys. So for anyone on the fence about tagging along with Big Mike for the day (or just a TPR meetup in general), don’t hesitate. You’ll have an awesome time! The Disneylander
...is it just me, or does Big Mike's reports invariably go: "Tickets...Prices...Lift...Overview...rinse and repeat..." Aside from your crushing lack of originality, your trip reports are awesome. I wish I could go on a coaster tour of the world!

KnottsDisneyFarm
Big Mike, how does Pilgrim's Plunge work? I don't see a drop after the lift...
LJGoBlue
^What you are calling the lift is the drop, the lift is an elevator that travels up the two gray supports at the top of the drop.
KnottsDisneyFarm
Ohhhh. I get it now. I am enlightened. Thanks, I didn't get the overview before but now I do.
gotdane
I miss Holiday World...Actually, I miss Voyage. It being #1 is alright by me! Love the pictures, Big Mike!
Maverickrocks
Great photos Big Mike! I have been following the roadshow since the beginning, but have never posted in the thread for some reason. I actually took my first trip to Holiday World yesterday, and of the coasters I've ridden, Voyage probably takes the #1 spot. It's just so crazy and relentless, and gives some spectacular moments of airtime . The park itself is excellent too, in some ways it has a kind of magical feel to it. Really cool to read your report right after getting back!
KnottsDisneyFarm
The park itself is excellent too, in some ways it has a kind of magical feel to it. Kind of like DLA used to be! Now it is filled with spoiled screaming and crying kids that complain about everything. DLA now just makes me mad.
