rawrtotheargh
Awesome update! I have a feeling that the hot babes would be a little more exciting if I were straight. I actually think Insanity is my favorite ride in Vegas. Believe or not. I love the lateral G's that make you feel like you are going to slide out. Can't wait to see your photos from the Scandi trip. Especially Tranan. Have fun Big Mike!

Homeboy23
The Stratosphere is why I want to go to Vegas. I am going to try next year. Another great trip report.
lil jimmy norton
I signed up, the website looks pretty cool, I will definitely let some of my friends know about it. Those rides up there are pretty sick, although probably not as sick as the rides you got in the hotel room.

BeemerBoy
^ Two things to remember: 1. Big Mike does not lie to his valuable readers. 2. There are plenty of hookers in Vegas. Yeah, I haven't been there since Insanity was installed, but X-Scream is the only ride that has ever managed to scare the piss out of me. Maybe it was because we rode it a week after it opened, and it's just one of those things you wish had a little more "mileage" under its belt before you rode. Or maybe it's just because it's very intimidating. Okay, it's both of those. Nice work on those "bonus credits," Mike.
Jojo19799
Thanks for the TR Big Mike. I always wanted to see the rides up close, but I'm too chicken to go up there. Even if you told me that George Clooney was up there, I still wouldnt go!!! I like coasters, but heights like the Stratosphere and drop towers are another thing. Mr.Wood
See, whenever I think of Manhattan Express, I always remember Robb's video of it. You payed $14 to get the crap beaten out of you? I have never seen that POV. of Manhattan Express. OMFG that was funny. All you have to say is "that's worst than Windjammer" (another TOGO masterpiece----of crap) and everyone knows just how bad it is.
Big Mike
Hello Fantastic Friends!!!! Now we are really going to start to get things rolling here on The Big Mike Road Show 2009!!! This report is from Adventurers Park near Coney Island New York!! This also is the FIRST ROUND OF THE 2009 FIND THE DUCKY GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and ANOTHER MIKESTERY CARD IS HIDDEN HERE!!!! The 2008 Find the Ducky game was a monster hit, so everyone who missed it last year, this is your chance to get in on the action!! EVERYONE is allowed to play all year long this time!!! The game is very simple: 1. Read the trip report and find how many pictures have the hidden rubber ducky in them. 2. Post your guess on how many duckies you found. Thats it!!!!!!! Plus it is absolutely FREE to play and you could win the Grand Prize at the end of the season! Everyone will have 2 full days to guess, which will be all day Tuesday and all day Wednsday. When the TPR clock hits Thursday and your post comes up with a Thursday's date, you are too late! Here is how the game will be run this year, we will take the first 50 guesses of each number and I will try to keep a running total along the way. Once a number has been guessed 50 times, it is full and no one can guess that number again, so that kind of puts a little race into getting your correct guess in. The Find the Ducky Game is also one of the 4 quests to also have the chance at the Grand Prize! You just need to answer correctly 3 times! Here are the full details: THE BIG MIKE ROAD SHOW 2009 MOST VALUABLE READER OF THE YEAR CONTEST Each Valuable Big Mike Reader will have 4 quests to complete in order to be in the running for the Grand Prize! These quests are: 1. Meet up with Big Mike once during the year and have your picture taken with Big Mike for his thread and super wall mural at The Big Mike Hotel! 2. There will be 15 Find the Ducky games this year, each Big Mike Reader will have to correctly guess the number of duckies hidden 3 times! (3 out of 15) 3. Each Big Mike Reader will have to find ONE Mikestery Treasure Hunt Game Card! This new game will have Big Mike hiding a Big Mike Road Show 2009 Logo Card somewhere in each park he visits. When the trip report posts, I will show you a picture of where the Logo Card is hidden and it is your job to find the hidden treasure. 4. The most easiest, post your very own Valuable Big Mike Road Show Banner in your signature. Some of you are already 25% of the way to winning already! The others can wait if you still want to resist the coolest club on TPR until you finish the other 3 quests I guess. That is it!! Finish all 4 quests and you are qualifed to win the Grand Prize! If only one person finishes all 4 quests, that person is crowned Champion! If multiple people finish all 4 quests, there will be a lottery drawing to determine the winner! A SPECIAL RULE - Since The Find the Ducky Game will be a running game throughout the whole season, whoever comes in first place in the Ducky Game (the most ducky wins overall) will automatically be credited with completing all 4 quests and advance to the final drawing!!! This gives EVERY Big Mike Reader the opportunity to win the Grand Prize! NOW FOR THE GRAND PRIZE!!!!! The GRAND PRIZE this year for The Big Mike Road Show 2009 Most Valuable Reader of the Year is: A ONE WEEK GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR USE IN BIG MIKE'S CONDO CLUB!!! This gift certificate can be used for ONE FULL WEEKS accomidations to any of the Condos in Big Mike's Condo Club! This is good for a ONE BEDROOM CONDO, and Big Mike is even picking up the processing fee!! You will be sent a vacation voucher and all you have to do is make the reservation whenever you want, there is NO EXPERATION DATE!! Do you have a big family?? You can upgrade to a 2 bedroom condo for a mere $25 more a day. and that option is available for you with this certificate! Warning - There is a "high season" upgrade of $20 a day at certain times, but the certificate can be used for ANY season. So this certificate can be absolutely free if you get a one bedroom condo anytime but high season, or at worst it can be $315 if you upgrade to a 2 bedroom AND go during super high season! NOT BAD AT ALL! Where are The Big Mike Condos at you ask? Here is the list: (Notice they are right smack dab in the middle of coaster country!!!) NJ ME MA VT UT AR MO CA CO ID NV (Las Vegas) WI DE MD PA VA (Williamsburg) SC (Myrtle Beach) NC TN AL FL (Orlando) TX Dont want a coaster vacation and would rather just relax? How about these places: Dominican Republic St. Lucia Virgin Islands Bahamas St. Maartin Aruba Molokai Honolulu Nuevo Vallarta and Cancun!! *Some of the above destinations have a mandatory All Inclusive Package, you will have to check with the resort! How do you check out all the resorts??? Here is the link of all the places, and pictures and details of every place: http://planwithtan.com/Properties/PropertiesbyRegion/tabid/899/Default.aspx CHECK IT OUT!! There are some really nice places I wish everyone the best of luck!!!! Remember, like last year, "quote" other peoples answers so that they cannot go back and change them to avoid shananigans! Once your guess has been "quote posted" by someone else, that is your final answer! Thats it everybody, sit back, relax, and enjoy Adventurers Park courtesy of The Big Mike Road Show 2009! ALSO of note, DO NOT give the answers to where the duckies are hidden please!!! Peace, Big Mike Clue #4. There it is!!! Go find it!!! Hope you enjoyed! Good luck to everyone! How many duckies did you find??? Post your answer now!!! Peace, Big Mike Clue #3. Clue #2. That is the whole park! Now it is time to play The Mikestery Treasure Hunt Game. This is clue #1 as the where the Mikestery Game Card is hidden. Looks like they kept some old things from Nellie Bly. No modern digital game here. Nellie Bly Express. Nellie Bly was the name of the old park before Adventurers. Haunted house. Pink elephants. Boats. Planes. Motorcycles. Kids ride. Helicopters. Carousel. Mini golf. Swings. Scrambler. Bumper Cars. All the other rides at the park coming up for your viewing pleasure and the TPR Park Index. (Some rides did not have signs.) Credit #764 for Big Mike! Even some tunnel action. Hidden Mickey. The train. Got my ticket! One last picture and its time to ride! The lift. Happy people makes this coaster a good fit in this park. Side overview. Overview. More TPR Park Index loving. TL*3 Coaster!!! Hours. Prices. Free Parking!!! Where else in NY do you find that?? TPR Park Index loving. Adventurers Park in Brooklyn NY, only about 5 minutes from Coney Island! Todays ducky that you will be searching for: Kitty Cat Duckie! This picture of the ducky DOES NOT COUNT towards your total! Good Luck!

WFChris
Hey Big Mike, So I am visiting San Diego and I happened to notice a backyard coaster. Now that we all know you will 'go there' for credits, I thought I would give it a mention. It's in El Cajon off of the Lake Jennings exit off the 8. Well I did some research and the guy calls his backyard "Marshall Scotty's Playland" and its even noted on Google Maps!!! I don't think it is open anymore, couldnt find a website on it, but if I can count on anybody to get the credit, it is you. So now you know. EDIT: After more research, looks like you will never get this credit. But I'll leave the post here if anybody wants to go look up more information on their own. Chris. STR8FXXXINEDGE
WOW! That duck is hard for me to see! Being color blind, that thing just blends in with everything. The old ducky stuck right out for me. I'm gonna have to save my guess for when I get out of work and have more time to sit and stare at each picture, and just hope that 50 people don't guess by then.
