Big Mike
I am enjoying your TRs day by day Big Mike. I apologize I don't post much on here to your TRs I have been busy lately. When will you be on the east coast again?  No need to apologize my friend, at least you posted this time!  If it wasn't for you and Shawn, a whole day with a brand new report would have went by and Big Mike would have got no praise at all for his hard work   So I thank you!   Peace, Big Mike

traincrossin
We had to wait until they finished vacuuming. They wanted it to look just right for The Big Mike Road Show trip report. Big Mike
Hello Friends!!  The 2nd stop in Vegas was at Peter Piper Pizza!   Your GPS info is:  560 South Decatur Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89107  The telephone number is 702-877-8873  The website is: http://www.peterpiperpizza.com  There is one coaster and adults are allowed to ride and also take pictures.   Hope you enjoy!   Peace, Big Mike Did I forget to mention they looked like this?? The game was good, but the after party was better  Hope you enjoyed!  Peace, Big Mike Big Mike uses his VIP status and goes down to hang out in the penalty box and wait for two friends that he met earlier that wanted to go out with Big Mike. Since the Titans go on the road for the League Championship Game, they salute the crowd for the last time in 2009. The traditional handshake, or as I called it, the shuffle off to Buffalo. Big Mike continues his streak of bringing the home team good luck and victories. 9-3 rout. It was a fun and entertaining game and the crowd went home happy in the end. NJ has some weird mascots. The Titans mascot. In typical NY/NJ fashion, these kids berated the opposing players in the penalty box. There were even a few altercations that broke out. I did enjoy everything else, including rock music playing throughout the game, players slashing thier opponents like crazy, and a total game of cheap shots and bad blood. Since this was my 1st time seeing a lacrosse game, I was a little surprised at how small the goal was. Ready to go. I think there were more people at West Coast Bash than at this game. Of course Big Mike has prime seats. Big Mike is here to root on the NY Titans Indoor Lacrosse team in the Conference Championship Game. A few Stanley Cup Championships too, but not as many as my Red Wings! Retired Jerseys too, or sweaters as Scott calls them. Maybe there is a Devils fan out there that will enjoy thier division and Conference banners. A huge mural of the winningest goalie in the history of the game, Martin Broduer. Bon Jovi opened the Prudential Center. The old arena was the Izod center I showed you a few reports back. This is the new home of the NJ Devils. The following day I head on over to the new Prudential Center in Newark New Jersey. I have never seen it before. Next, it was time to go try to win the poker tournement!  The night went very well and Big Mike made it to the final two tables.  The ending unfortunately happened like this:  The guy ranked #1 in the tourney goes all in.  Big Mike calls him.  The guy behind Big Mike with more chips also goes all in, which in turn puts Big Mike all in also.  The #1 player shows a Jack and Ace, non suited.  The guy behind me shows a pair of 10s.  Big Mike flips over a pair of aces!  Big Mike is totally in the drivers seat with a monster pot on the table with just about no chance of losing unless one of the last two 10s in the deck pop up...  ... and of course it did  Oh well, guess I cant win EVERYTHING! I thought it looked a little bland by itself, so when I got home I put a nice expensive frame around it. They gave me this nice momento as a keepsake to compensate for my loss of my dearly departed winning ticket. Guess I made the big time since I had to show them my ID.  You can also make out the magic number of $1037.40! Looks like I will have my ticket a little longer, as I need to go to an IRS window instead! I won too much money to cash in here with the locals. Had some time to spare before the poker tourney started, so off I went to cash in my masterful bet.  Goodbye my precious ticket, it was great having you! Big Mike signs up and everyone is afraid. While doing that, Big Mike also enters the poker tournement to get a free seat to the real poker tournement! So this past weekend Big Mike heads back to the Meadowlands horse track to cash in his winning $1000 Kentucky Derby ticket! A special thanks to Shawn once again for hanging out! Credit #763 for Big Mike! Bunny hops. The lift. Shawn is ready to go! The train. Since I rarely see that, I thought it was picture worthy. The enterance goes right under the track, which is odd for a kiddie coaster. Reverse overview. Overview of Dragon. There is really nothing else here but an arcade. The height chart. The prices. Mr.Wood
Look at those scores. That's why in-door Lacrosse nets are so small. Looks like fun (as usual) Mike ALWAYS has a fun time. Always a fun read. Thanks
Pirouettes907
Hi Big Mike! Â I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy following along with the Roadshow. I'm all caught up after starting at the beginning a few weeks ago and let me tell you, this thread sure helped keep me sane during finals last week (for example: "hmmmm, should I try writing and get frustrated at another paragraph of this 20 page paper or should I find the duckies? Well, Big Mike is cool. Papers are not cool. And I think real-life duckies are just so adorable because they quack and waddle and paddle around. So, BMRS 2, Papers 0." See, I think logically!). Â But seriously, I love your reports, not only because you do such a thorough job of photographing parks and rides but because each report is just brimming with the Big Mike quirkiness that makes these reports so awesomely entertaining and unique. Â Keep up the great work; I'm looking forward to future installments of the Big Mike Roadshow 2009! Â ~Megan
BeemerBoy
That guy with pocket 10's made a horrible play. Seriously. An all-in and a call behind, and then he shoves too? Did he honestly think his 10's were good preflop? Morons catching two-outers sucks. Â I'm still hoping for a Wings/ Bruins Cup Finals.

Big Mike
Hey there Great Friends!!!  The 3rd stop in the Big Mike Road Show 2009 Las Vegasathon is the Adventure Dome in the Circus Circus Hotel!   Your GPS info is:  3900 South Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89119  The telephone number is 702-794-3985  The website is: http//www.adventuredome.com   There are 2 roller coasters here, in which adults can only ride one of them.   I hope you enjoy!   Peace, Big Mike Thanks to Shawn for the behind the scenes pictures of Big Mike's attempt to ride the kiddie coaster.  Since there were no pictures of Shawn though, here is one from the park before which I almost forgot to post!  Thanks for reading and remember that you can be proud of The Big Man for not selling out his body!  Peace, Big Mike B C Bus Road Runner. Pikes Pass Mini Golf. Thunderbirds. Sponge Bob Square Pants Ride. Circus Carousel. Drifters. Sling Shot. Disk - O Lasar Runner. Quick Shot. 4-D FX show. Sand Pirate. Canyon Cars. Rim Runner. Chaos. Continuing the tradition of being the most thorough reporter on TPR, here are all the other rides at Adventuredome:  The Frog Hopper. Some various pictures of Canyon Blaster: A closer look at the lift. The lift. Here is the train to the other coaster at the park, Canyon Blaster!  I did not get a picture of the Canyon Blaster sign, sorry!  I think I was still contemplating that "what if the females that I had to do the sexual favors for were super hot?" while I should have been taking that picture for you. Big Mike did not get to ride the Miner Mike, but as you can see, he was still able to hold his head up high with his decision!  Now Big Mike could have just left and said enough with this Adventuredome place, they don't deserve a review on The Big Mike Road Show 2009!!!  I couldn't do it though, The Valuable Big Mike Readers are counting on me!  So on Big Mike goes, gathering all kinds of pictures of the rides at Adventuredome for the TPR Index and for all the great readers of TPR! This decision was so important to everyone involved that they actually had to go straight to the top and had me call the Corporate Office for clearance to ride!  Long story short, I was talking to a female on the phone and it became clear that once they found out they were talking to Big Mike, the only way Big Mike was going to get on this coaster was to dish out quite a few sexual favors!  This is where I was torn. Should I throw away my morals and values just to ride a kiddie coaster?  Bottom line, I felt the Valuable Big Mike Readers would be disappointed in me if I gave in to such pressure, so I passed! Big Mike is lead into the General Manager's office to begin his long spiel about why I wanted to ride the coaster. Big Mike gets escorted to the head honcho, while uncovering valuable information that the guy walking me there has ridden the coaster after park hours and he is above 58 inches. Now here is the problem.  You need to be between 33 and 58 inches to ride.  Big Mike does not want to go down without a fight, so I ask to talk to the top brass of the place. There is even a bell to ring. The coaster evens has cameras to take video during the ride. Overview. The main reason Big Mike is here, The elusive Miner Mike credit!  The only coaster in the state of Nevada that Big Mike does not have. The height chart. The prices. Inside can be found the Adventuredome! The next stop on the tour took Shawn and I to the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada!
Six Flags Enthuseast
Wow... I WAS getting ready to comment on the Go Kart place, but it seems you do updates very fast! Â Either way, I thought they were all cool. I can see why you get such big hype around here!
Reon
First off, great reports as always. Circus Circus looks like a fun park with good rides, even if they want Big Mike to sell his body for sexual favors. Â Anyways, update on the 23rd. Around what time do you think you'll be at Coney? Starting this year, the park is open from 11-10 on Saturdays. I'm going to try to only get the 10:30-4 early shift since late shift is from 3:30-10. Either way I'm sure I'll meet you somewhere on the 23rd. Its just a question of if it will be me manning something at Coney, or the epicness known as Diamondback. Big Mike
Hey Jared!  The plan is Diamondback at 9am with the early opening.  10am Kings Island  Sometime around lunch time will be a trip to Coney Island.  Back to Kings Island for the rest of the day!  Hope this helps, see you soon!   Peace, Big Mike
Reon
I could probabbly make Diamondback ERT either way. Its just if I have early shift, I'll have to leave as soon as KI opens (KI to Coney is about a 20 minute drive if you take 275). Â See you soon

Emiroo
Big Mike - Â What are your Holiday World dates & plans? I'd love to meet up and Voyage & Plunge with you at my home park! Â If scheduling allows that is...

Big Mike
Eric - I hired a "special events coordinator for this trip who is in charge of all transportation, lodging, hookers, and park visits!  He has told me that Holiday World should be Friday May 22nd at opening, which I am not exactly sure what time that is.  The plan has us staying there until 1 or 2pm, with us theh heading to Beech Bend that day for an approximate 4pm arrival.  Of course, these planners always throw in the stipulation of "plans subject to change".  Keep up on this thread or my Facebook for up to the minute Big Mike Road Show updates on location times as it happens.  The only way I see the "plans subject to change" happening is if I run into some super hot Big Mike Road Show roadie girls along the way.   Zach - I also found out that if you were an ACE member, you get in an hour early too! That works for me!  Its been a long time in planning for this Kings Island visit, the most asked for Big Mike Road Show park visit!!  I hope to see a big crew there and we set aside the whole day for a very fun time! (Except the quick visit to Coney Island)  I always like to have someone check off the Official Big Mike Road Show T-Shirt somehow supporting the park like Canobie Fan did for Canobie Lake or Joey did for Universal, to name a few.  So Zach is the odds on favorite for Kings Island, so now you have to show up. Lol   Any other questions from anybody, just let me know... Its a boring day at work.   Peace, Big Mike
Emiroo
Â I think I can make that work! Hope to see you there! I'll be representin' with my TPR shirt and I know you will be with yours. Â BTW - The park opens at 9:30 AM CENTRAL Standard Time.
Big Mike
I ALWAYS suggest that if you are coming to hang out with The Big Mike Road Show, always wear your TPR shirts as I keep an eagle eye out for them!!! Lenaapple1974
OK, I think I somehow almost missed something, instead thinking about how low some peoples morals are these days. Sexual favors for a kiddie coaster? Geez... I am glad you stayed on the straight and narrow on that one. They could have been scary, just as easily as babes. There could be a reason they didn't show them to you before you accepted. But somewhere along the line I missed out that you are going to Coney Island May 23rd? Whew, I almost thought I got my timeline mixed up there for a second. How could another park be named that? It is just wrong. So speaking of good 'ol Coney Island, when is the Brooklyn arrival expected this year again? I need to write it down in my calendar. The days have filled up quite quickly. Just not between July 1 to July 11. We are doing the drive to Orlando remember... (sadly, Hollywood Studios is not on the itinerary this year, just Flex Pass Plus parks... so ToT will have to wait. I have bigger um.. fish to fry. )
