PURE
^Haha I didn't even think about that they look just like lightning rods. This is kind of off the subject of X2, and I got this picture from the SFOT TR that was done by sfotkid, but I'm guessing this is the basketball game that is going to be installed by where Circus Wheel was. 3 Point Challenge According to sfotkid the game cost ten bucks! Screw that!
robbalvey
^ Does everyone get a prize? I know one thing that Jay talked about in the last Q&A session we had with him is that certain age groups on some games would get a prize for every play. If you were guaranteed a good experience and a prize, it's not that bad of a deal considering that some arcade games are $2 a play now for about 30 seconds of video game. --Robb
SharkTums
Does anyone know how much they get for this game at the Cedar Fair parks? $10 does seem a bit outrageous.
cgodsey
The one I saw at Worlds of Fun last fall was indeed $10. This game is definitely one of those "gotta show my skills for the chicks" type of game. I believe you have to score a certain amount of points to receive a prize. Jew
I believe the price was dropped from $10 to $5 at KBF.
Eunuch Provocateur
I believe the price was dropped from $10 to $5 at KBF. For five or ten dollars, I'd rather just buy a stuffed animal that I can choose.
DBJ
And it has a slightly porno sounding name! I would hope they change it to a different name, some kids won't be able to resist making some off color jokes about it. 10 is slightly high, they should stick with go-kart pricing. 5 bucks, do high volume instead of charging to the max per person. Hercules
I believe the 3 Point Challenge at Dorney is $5.

As long as it's not called the "All American Cornhole Toss," I think it should be fine.
PURE
I think the people that will be willing to spend $10 dollars to play are going to be some of the same people that are willing to pay $5 for the normal basketball game, or other games. I don't think it's worth it, much like all games at parks. But I'm sure there are plenty of people that will be willing to fork over the cash. Lets just hope the person in charge of the game isn't yelling at people on a microphone to come and play, that can get annoying (Example: KBF) and detours people from even getting close. robbalvey
Time to unstick this. I hope everyone had a chance to hear the interview with Shapiro. If not, please check it out on the first page of this thread. --Robb
CoasterGuru95
I think they need to fix up great adventure. I visited it here recently and it was a nice park but El toro kept stalling out before it got to the lift hill. Also they need to lower the price for a "flash pass" or do like Disney world and there other parks and add a free system like "fast pass" that would make there theme park experience for me a lot better. P.S. has anybody rode Led Zeppelin The Ride?
