pagemaster_b
Hey, didn't they close down the US patent office during the 1920s, stating that everything was already invented? No, I'm getting some of my history mixed up. Still, I'm not sure if there really has been much progress since the 1920s. After all, the opposite of progress is congress. That was really funny. robbalvey
OMG! That was the most awesome WDW experience ever! I'm glad you captured the moment Erik. I will say though that screech the theater made when it stopped was kind of scary! --Robb

Swimace
haha, nice video Erik. I got stuck in The Laughing Place on Splash Mountain for 20 minutes one time without the music ever stopping. It was awsome.
Shockwave
Haha, that looked very educational! Kidtums will be well versed in the 1920s now. And no Jeff Johnson required!
LiquidForce
The same exact thing happened to me on that ride probably like 5 years ago. Great video!

larrygator
Erik - how many Disney rides have you been e-vaced off besides CoP and Pooh?
YoshiFan
That happened to me in 2004, we saw that 1920's scene 3 times but they got the ride going again and we didn't have to evacuate
Erik Johnson
Erik - how many Disney rides have you been e-vaced off besides CoP and Pooh? Hmmmm....not too many that I can remember. That may be all. At Universal I had an E-stop and evacuation on both the Mummy and the Hulk in the same day.
Team Thriller
I remember getting stuck on Haunted Mansion in the 'crystal ball' room with all the flying objects. You could see how everything was done. Then we had to evacuate. It was awesome. --James

moinab
We sat through the 1940s 3 times, last fall. I don't think I've ever seen that many people in there!
kraken613
Awsome! Never thought about that ride having to be evaced! The only ride I have been evaced on it Mystery Mine. A sensor went off or something.
njf
I have been evacuated off Space Mountain, and Kilimanjaro Safari. While not evacuated but it broke down and we had to go back to the beginning a different way and not finish the ride. Although we got endless fastpasses out of it! scruffy
Having to hear "great big beautiful tommorrow" that many times may be just as annoying as "it's a small world"! Lucky you did not have a E-stop in It's A Small World like I did back in 2000. You think they could turn the audio off if the ride is down.
