Williamsburg VA

Busch Gardens - 5 min

VA Beach Motor World - 1 hour (depending on traffic)

King's Dominion - 1 hour

I'm currently stuck with going to Busch simply because its closer. I really want to visit KD sometine this season, but I doubt I'll be able to go.

Lol, you should talk to Chuck. You guys might be neighbors, and maybe he'll let you meet Angus mcnasty.

Just because we live in the same town doesn't mean we're neighbors.

... although I do think I shook hands with him in church once.

hmmm...

I guess my homepark would be Sylvan Beach (about 30 min away from me). But the Parks I Visit the most are, The Great Escape, SFNE, Darien Lake and Seabreeze. I am happy with my location, because I have three great coasters at my local parks, SROS (Bizarro), The Comet and ROS.

It must be obvious, but Kennywood is only a ten minute drive away. I visit it very often, not including the five days a week I go to work there. I also visit Idlewild (and Waldameer, at least since last year) at least once a year as well.

I live about 20 to 25 minutes south of Busch Gardens Tampa. I love getting my pass every year purely for the fact that I can actually go all year round. Although, having it being so accessible I tend to avoid the summer months. I hate dealing with the horrible heat and random afternoon storms followed by excruciating humidity during the season. I usually stick to going September - May before school gets out.

P.S. Anyone that's been there...are you as cranky as I am that they don't give out free beer anymore at the Hospitality House?!

I live in Finland (which is in northern Europe) my home park being Linnanmäki only 60 kilometers (round 40 miles) away. I also work as a ride-op there

Another nearby park is Särkänniemi, 100 kilometers (round 60 miles) away.

I'm in central Illinois, and the closest "park" for me is a place about 30 minutes away with a little electronic kiddie coaster.

However I have a few parks within four hours:

Indiana Beach: 2 hours 30 minutes

SFSTL: 3 hours 30 minutes

SFGAm: 3 hours 30 minutes

Holiday World: 4 hours

SFKK: 4 hours

Kings Island: 4 hours

While I don't really have a home park, I'm happy with some of the better parks (HW and IB especially) that I have near me.

I know that pain very well. Just keep on sites like this during down time is my advice. Kept me into coasters when I was far away.

And that electric coaster by you hurts...a lot.

Yeah Lake Winnie!

First Coaster I rode-Caterpillar (Wacky Worm), when I was 4 years old.

Used to be 20 minutes away, now it's like 30. Too far for me to work there not owning my own car .

Also, when I'm in Knoxville at UT, Dollywood is closer at that point, 40-50 minutes.
