What is your local park?

I grew up about halfway between SFMM and KNF. Lived there until about 2002.

Cedar Point-2 hours or less

Europe-Netherlands. My homepark is Walibi World, with the Good Goliath It usually takes me 1,5 hour to get there from my house with the bus and the train.

Now it's Cedar Point but growing up it was Geauga Lake. Funny though, I mostly went to CP. Now I miss GL.

Good ole' Elitch Gardens in Denver. That park is the definition of "off the shelf" coasters and rides.

USH is only 15 minutes away.

KBF is around 40, Disneyland around 45 and SFMM around 45.

SFDK is about 45-30 min from me depending on traffic. CGA is about an hour and a half depending on traffic.

Hershey Park, I guess Lakemont, and Del Grossos isn't much further.

I call my home park Busch Gardens Tampa... But I live about 2 hours south.

 

I'm originally from Guadalajara Mexico though, so my original home park is Selva Magica! (Magic Jungle!)

Sandcastle water Park- 40 minutes away

Idlewild Park- 35 minutes away

 

there used to be a park in Monroville near #1 Cochran where Spitzers auto is today (15 minutes away) and in Jeannette used to be Oakford Park closed a long time ago but the pool lasted but is now closed- the land is now just weeds (5 minutes away).

The closest is probably Prater, which is like a 4 hour drive away.

The second closest being Gardaland, with a 4.5 hour drive, and the third Mirabilandia, with a 5.5 hour drive...

That is, if I'm lucky with traffic...

Damn, I´m jealous to see how people have Cedar Point on a 2 hour drive, and SFMM down the street, my homepark, before I isolated myself on an Island, used to be Walibi World, but I mostly visit Phantasialand, Brühl, with the amazing Black Mamba, and the fantastic Winja´s..

My home park is SFGAm, it's 3 hours away. Adventureland near Des Moines, is about 3 hours in the other direction.

yeah it may sound great to have CP a 30min drive away, but to much of even MY suprise, going almost once a week gets boring.....I mean, yeah its the Rockin Roller Coast and America's Amasement Park BUT other parks have the rides that CP doesn't......the flyers the dive machines and the monster GCI

 

CP has NONE of those.....and won't be getting any in the time being, except maybe our long overdue destruction of Mean Streak and the arrival of a GCI
