I've got a few parks I could consider to be my home park, now that I've moved. I've got an Alpine coaster 20 min north of me, but the closest park is Idlewild. Kennywood, Lakemont, and DelGrosso's are all about equal distance. I'd consider Kennywood my home park, as it was when I lived in West Virginia. However, I go to Cedar Point enough to consider it to be my "home away from home" park.

My 'home' park is Alton Towers, which is about an hour away from where I live, I've also got Flamingo Land & Lightwater Valley which aren't a huge amount further away, but I rarely visit them, where as I go to Alton Towers around 7 or 8 times a year.

The closest parks - Rye Playland, Lake Compounce, Quassy, and Bowcraft - are each 60-90 minutes from me.

SFNE, SFGAd, Dorney are my home "big" parks - each is at or just under 2.5h

However there is good variety: within ~5h, there are about ~40 "worthwhile" parks, and a further ~20 "credit whoring" parks/FECs.

My local park is Magic Springs in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I live about an hour away in Little Rock. It's great to have a wooden coaster like Arkansas Twister so close. I rode it 9 times yesterday, but with a season pass, there will be many more rides this summer.

SFFT, SWSA, ZDT's, and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels are all within a half hour of my house. SFOT is 3-4 hours away and I visit there occasionally. Probably won't be able to go there this season, but I'm not complaining about doubling my count on a 3500 mile trip at all
