ginzo
How is Thunderhead ahead of Balder?! Balder having problems during the ECC Scandi trip could not have helped. At least it's still top 10, unlike Colossos.
coasterfreak101
^More people ride Thunderbird than they do Balder. If Thunderbird's (Power Park) ranking is any indication, Evel Knievel should place in the top 10 next year!

coastercrazed49
Wow Avalache at Timber Falls did really well for being a coaster thats really small. Psyclone in last!
spaceace12
All I can say is, YEAH! But Voyage hopefully will be edged out of my number spot hopefully in the next 6 months.

KGA29
Yay! Grizzly in dead last! That's not the first time. Hopefully, CGA's 09 woodie will be up there. Renegade was in the top 20.

niiicolaaah
I think the coaster that comes in dead last should automatically be bulldozed.

downunder
There was only 6 votes difference in the head to head between Voyage and El Toro which ended up determining who was #1, now if we excluded all the Voyage fanboys who haven't even ridden El Toro but ranked it below Voyage anyway... Surprised Cornball wasn't higher I really enjoyed that one, and Cyclops too.
ginzo
Surprised Cornball wasn't higher I really enjoyed that one, and Cyclops too. Cornball has been underrated for a while now. Buzz bars, tons of airtime, great drops, a very smooth ride, maximum re-ride value. What's there not to like? We got 2 separate Cornball ERT sessions at IB's enthusiast event back in August. Cornball *never* got old, even after an hour of riding it.
Meteornotes
Troy!?!? Troy!!?! Sorry Europeans, I used to respect you guys, but not anymore! 100% agreed. I don't get this. At all. dt
robbalvey
I'm actually very pleased about the #1 and #2 spots. It came in exactly as I had expected. The rest of the top ten is a real mixed bag, IMO. I don't think Balder deserves to be that low. I don't think Boulder Dash deserves to be that high. I would have liked to have seen Raven on that list. I think Phoenix is a better ride than both Troy and Thunderhead. But that's just me. Overall the only real top ten list that matters to me is my own. --Robb
texcoaster
A couple of interesting things: Boardwalk Bullet, even though it still hasn't been tweaked to run like it was designed to, came in a pretty impressive #21. It is the highest ranking woodie in Texas, with the next in line being Texas Giant at #69. If more people had ridden Giant this year, it wouldn't have fared as well. If you check out the results only including the votes for rides that were ridden this year, Giant comes in at #147!!! I'm actually surprised it was that high. It was pretty much unridable this year. As for Avalanche, I hadn't heard much at all about this ride, but after watching the video on "Coasters in the Raw" I was convinced that I need to go ride this thing. It probably won't be next year, though. I'm hitting El Toro next summer.
redfoot12
Dag! I've only ridden two coasters in the top 50 and none in the top 35. A TPR trip should be in my future, but it isn't. Trips to Hershey, Knoebels, and Great Adventure in '08 should help that out though.
Scaparri
Yeah, I'm a little disappointed Avalanche didn't break the top 10, but there's stiff competition. It's gets the nod for the #3 position in my ride count. My biggest surprises: -Balder slips to #5 -Thunderbird in the 10 spot. I don't doubt this, I just didn't realize it was so well liked. I knew it was a good ride, but I had never heard anybody give it a complete rave review. -Cheetah at #118. How!? How is it not in the bottom 10!? larrygator
Only 4 people from Sweden voted, 2 from nearby Norway and 2 from Finland. This shows the true power and lure of Balder as there clearly is no home country bias helping Balder. I believe there were subliminal messages in the Troy station music and Toverland theme song that made many rate Troy a little higher than deserved. I was not fooled by these subliminal messages since they were recorded in Dutch and German, languages I do not speak.
Carnage
Yeah, I'm a little disappointed Avalanche didn't break the top 10, but there's stiff competition. It's gets the nod for the #3 position in my ride count. I actually moved it down my list this time around. I thought it wasn't running nearly as well as I remember it when I first rode it opening year.
Shockwave
^Yeah, I heard a lot of people say that. Personally I loved it, and it was my number 2 on my list.
WillMontu
I didn't think that much of Voyage, I actually preferred Raven, and even Rumbler. Troy will be interesting though. Balder > Everything. SharkTums
We've been on all the GCI's Troy is in the middle of the pack according to both of us. I much prefer (of the GCI's): Rumbler, OzCat, Renegade, Thunderbird, Thunderhead. Heck even Gwazi on a good day! I think some of the Europeans are just intrigued by their first GCI and haven't been on a better one yet.
