wildside
At Great Escape, which is my home park, when the chain lift on the second spike of their Boomerang stops, it sounds like it slams down against the track, and its pretty loud. Do any other Boomerang's do that?
Acero
Yep. I'm pretty sure they all do it. Obviously Vekoma wasn't thinking about noise reduction when they designed the catch mechanism.

Do any other Boomerang's do that? It sounds like it slams down because that is exactly what it is doing. The entire lift system drops down to allow the train to travel backwards over the chain that was just pulling it up.
