KerryB
Love the DVD and I love my hoodies! It was great getting them all at the same time. The POVs are fantastic and I really enjoy all the true coaster noise. Now I really can't wait for El Toro... Thanks Robb!!
cycamps
About how long does it take to get it? I sent the check last Tuesday & I was just curious.

Simon Baynham
...I'm not into "coaster footage" videos. But I figured "Ok, if I'm going to make one, I'm going to make one that I'd at least watch!" It's OK Robb, your "Go For A Ride" video fetish is safe with me - Ooops! 8¬) I have a large collection of officially-released coaster and park films that I have aquired over the years, so I have seen many programmes ranging from good to terrible. I thought Coasters in the Raw was superb, the only thing that disappointed me was the onride footage of The Voyage - the film is too dark. I understand that Health & Safety issues are paramount at every park; however, Holiday World should have considered letting Robb erect his camera for a better recording. Robb could then provide the park with the improved footage, so everybody wins! Simon Baynham (UK)
cycamps
I just got it yesterday and I love it. There was a great coaster lineup also. I can't wait for part two!!!

RIP Psyclone
Many of you know that Robb is listed on imdb.com because of his work on video games, but I was surprised to see that Roller Coasters in the Raw (Volume 1) is actually listed on there too! Check it out: www.imdb.com/title/tt1213872/
robbalvey
^ Yup! It is considered a "real" DVD release! It's even sold on Amazon.com! BTW, Raw 2 should be available in November! --Robb
ILoveRitalin
^ Will it be called Raw 2: Electric Boogaloo? Ok, that wasn't funny. I thoroughly enjoyed Raw volume 1, so I'm looking forward to volume 2. I've always been one of those "coaster footage" geeks, except I don't sit there and act like I'm on the ride... Really... I don't... ok, maybe I did just once, for fun...
dandaman
IMDB has In the Raw listed under Reality TV. Dan "Make a DVD of your new 'Big Brother: Florida' antics and it could live up to the designation!" Smith
PKI Jizzman
Can't wait for RAW 2! Still love the first!
TheHulk
I'd have to buy myself a copy of the first one, and eventually the second one when it comes out.
TheRapidsNerd
RAW was the first video I ever bought from TPR. I love POVs and this did not disappoint! Neither did the off-ride footage. Glad I got in on front end of this series and much looking forward to RAW 2!
robbalvey
Here's a little secret for you guys...well, I guess it's not really a secret since I'm posting on a public forum.... Raw 2 will be more "current" wood and steel coasters...I won't go into exactly which ones, but Fahrenheit, T-Express, Ravine Flyer II, Led Zeppelin, Mystery Mine, Thunderhead, Dive Coaster, Kawasemi, Dominator, Coney Island Cyclone, just to name a few...will be included! Raw 3, which I'm planning to have releaesd just after the new year (Feb/March) will be all "defunct" coasters including Hercules, Texas Cyclone, Southport Cyclone, William's Grove Cyclone. Psyclone (wow, that's a lot of Cyclones that have been lost), Myrtle Beach Hurricane, Hayabusa, The Bullet, Windjammer, Cop Car Chase, Viper, Speed: The Ride just to name a few! In January I will put an official email out to everyone looking for any footage they may have of defunct coasters to add to that collection! Old B-Roll from parks is also helpful if you happen to have an old press kit or historic footage. (If you happen to have any of this, email me!) Anyway, that's kind of the plan for Raw over the next 6 months! I hope you guys are excited about this project as I am! --Robb
dandaman
We're already looking ahead to Raw 3? Be still my heart. You do know that, even if you hadn't divulged such information, we'd still buy it in bulk, right? Dan "It's like saying who'll be the star actors in a porn movie; it's still porn!" TheRapidsNerd
*sniff* It's....just....so....beautiful......*sniff* Any more goodness and I'll need a box of kleenex. Seriously, that's great news. I squirrel away the cash for these straight away.
Manny In England
When should RAW 2 come out Robb? Also will the Corkscrew be featured on RAW 3 or is it only already defunct coasters?
dandaman
I'd assume Raw 2 will be out in time for Christmas, or at least it makes sense to be before Raw 3's hopeful release in February/March.
TheHulk
I'm hoping that Python from Busch Gardens in Tampa will be in Raw 3. Sure, it was a simple coaster, but it was also fun. I really don't agree with them tearing it down for some kiddie area of the park.
cycamps
I think a defunct coaster Raw is a great idea. I can't wait for #2 &
Wood Dragon 1988
Defunct coasters in the raw is a genius idea.....and no I'm not just trying to suck up to raw. And Jungala looks amazing, I can't imagine an Arrow Corkscrew was better.
