deaconnor
Man Ninja at SFOG is sooooooo bad. I thought it would be fun but as soon as we dropped I couldn't wait for it to end. It was horrible.
mlambert21
I just rode the Dragon for the first time on Wed. and it also gets my vote for worst coaster ever. Never knew a ride could be sooo darn rough and that is before the lift hill....
Jcoaster
The worst coaster by far is Steamin Demon at The Great Escape. Possibly one of the most pointless coasters ever.
bombritual
I have spent a lot of time at Cedar Point and every time I'm there Top Thrill Dragster is lined way up and broke most of the day. I can not count the number of times it has broke while I was getting up close in line. So its frustration factor makes it one of the worst. Also, the Mean Streak hurts. Also, I agree with one of the first posts. The coaster at NY-NY in Vegas not that good. However the one at the Sahara in Vegas was fun. I think it was Speed the Ride. DBru
The worst coaster by far is Steamin Demon at The Great Escape. Possibly one of the most pointless coasters ever. Dude, it's a classic Arrow Loopscrew, one of the first modern looping coasters around! (There are 10 of them...)
Rollerman87
I know you guys will hate me, but the worst design of a coaster ever is the Vekoma boomerang design. I get the worst headache from riding 'em. Since I'm from Cali, I'll pick Knott's Boomerang as the worst.
Satchboogie3
I think I have to go with the defunct "Viper" from Six Flags Great Adventure. A very painful and boring ride. The exact opposite of what now lies in its place.
Philrad71
Yeah, I'll go with: *'Steamin' Demon' @ Great Escape *'Predator' @ Darien Lake *'Hurler' @ Kings Dominion Tear 'em down, they're all awful and completely pointless. Maybe not the worst coasters in the world, but there really isn't much good to say about any one of them!

Don't get me wrong I love old classic coasters but this thing is horrible!
bflag
IMO, Wicked Twister at Cedar Point. The launch is the only quality part of the ride and even that gets old.
wierdo135
It used to be a tie between Mind Eraser and the ever so creative "Flying coaster" at elitches but Mean Streak is easly the worst. Trims, and boring. I didn't find it to be THAT rough and im sure I could handle a trimless ride on it. Even so I don't see how the layout could provide enough airtime to make up for its roughness. I do believe the main reason they added trims was because it was going to fast and it was causing all the wood to weaken or something like that. CD
I don't think that Mean Streak qualifies for this because it really isn't that rough or bad, it is just a slow moving, boring, and way too of a long ride. I also don't think that Grizzly is the worst even though it is a little rough and really boring. I think the worst coaster is definitely the Texas Giant. I go on this coaster once every year and it only gets worse as time progresses. Every time a train comes back into the station people are complaining about how unbearably rough it was and how much pain it caused them. It is like having a jack hammer digging into your spine, neck, and head for two minutes, it's just pure hell.
coastb2
How about the Togo made Fujin Raijin. http://www.rcdb.com/id1187.htm
Six Flags Enthuseast
Worst that I've been on, Psyclone that used to be at SFMM. The worst part was that my mom was concerned about me falling out, and she pushed my restraint down too hard. I had to go to the bathroom really bad, so I was mad at her and I told her to NEVER mess with my restraints! Then the coaster was horrible, so that really made me hate Psyclone bad! Cygnus12
One of the worst, or at least the worst replacement, is Star Jet at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ. It's this Miller made steel coaster that has an OK drop and a nice view of the ocean...but that's it. The ride is rough, the turns are awful, and the layout is complete garbage. The worst part is that they actually had the stones to name it Star Jet, after the awesome Schwarzkopf Jet Star that used to reside in its place! Guest
The worst coasters in existance are the Zamperla Volare and the Vekoma Boomerang. Absolutely horrible, 1 1/2 minutes of hell.
Thelegendarymatthew
^Vekoma at Hershey isn't that bad. Shockwave. . . . . . . no comment.
MrX8991
For me, it is definitely Iron Wolf at SFGAmerica. I've never ridden a coaster where I literally had head banging from start to finish. I was riding it with my friend and I just swore the entire ride while he laughed at my pain. It was a few hours before I felt my ears again. BTW, I was standing up, not riding it like it was a bicycle seat. It didn't help one bit. Normally, I put my head forward to avoid head banging, so Arrow rides don't bother me, but the restraints are so bulky for this piece of crap that it didn't even work. coasterdude5
For me, it's a tie between Iron Wolf and Gwazi. They're both painful in their own way.

revilolee
Hurler...that is all. I'm not sure which Hurler you're talking about, but the one at Carowinds is a horrible coaster.
gnewton34
Nope, Hurler at King's Dominion. That ride is going to eventually cause someone to have a serious injury.
Philrad71
Wild Beast @ Canadas Wonderland. That thing is just awful. Yes, I may have to retract my previous vote (from KD - Hurler) and switch it to Wild Beast after riding this coaster a couple of weeks ago. I was starting to think that maybe I am just getting too old for some of these older wooden coasters because it seems like everytime I ride a woodie that isn't named El Toro or RFII, it totally fails and beats the living crap outta me! I did not even bother with Mighty Canadian Mind Buster. I just could not endure another crappy wooden coaster after riding Wildebeast.
