themeparkguy27
Took a day off of work to check out Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America. Going on Columbus Day is nice, as the crowds are not too bad, and its mostly families there. Today, I went there to check out the sights and sounds of Fright Fest. No coasters for me today. Anyway, onto the pictures. Double knife carrying Clown. Scares many. He burped at me after taking this picture. Pirates area in Yankee Harbor. Didn't see any pirates walking around on this day. The Mayor of Necropolis, Mayor Slayer. Axe carrying Pumpkin head. Im Dead Sexy... Dead Bride. Cool Gravedigger Ahh..here we are. Necropolis. City of the Dead. (Not very scary during the day, but oh well) Area 51... Area 51 has been moved to the back of the park now. Feels a little more cramped back here, and some of the bigger props are missing. Tinseltown Terror, new this year in Southwest Territory. Only problem with going during the day, no actors are really out. Love At First Fright.... Love At First Fright. Very popular stage show during Fright Fest. Fright Fest Decorations .... New to the Entrance Plaza this year is this Tree limb, pumpkin head guy. He stands up and welcomes all to Fright Fest. Cool addition. Signature Shot of Entrance Plaza with Blood Pool
CoasterNut17
Cool TR! I was there on Saturday. I didn't think that the Studio 13 house was very scary, but the Mausoleum of Terror was great! Sounds like you had a good time. Btw, in Necropolis, did you see a different guy with a shovel (it was another grave digger without all the blood around his mouth)? He kept talking with me about my TPR shirt, and how the next time I came back he would have one of those coffins made out for me! Good times. There was no real ending. The Cujo dog was really dumb. The Ring TV, lame. The house was not done too well, imo. I think your talking about Chris. He is actually a member here on these forums. Chris was not the grave digger on Monday, but I think he was there Saturday.
CoasterNut17
That's pretty cool. We also saw one of the head guys there and he talked with us because he saw my TPR shirt. Awesome! I think the reason that Studio 13 was so lame is because they just got it this year, and really had no time to perfect it or spend a bunch of time on it. Nice pics, by the way!
