Hello!

I have taking on the challenge to build an realistic looking scale rollercoaster model. It will be out of wood, 23 cm or 9 inches tall and with a 6.75m or 22 feet long course.

In the reality the coaster would be 17,5 meters or 55 feet's tall and it would have a 500 meter or 1640 feet's long course.

I build it mostly out of balsa. For the trains I thought of using PLASTRUCT - plastic sheets

Please download my No limit Trackfile and give me comments!

Are the coaster to rough, fast, or something; and what do you think about the layout? - please tell me. I want it to be and look as realistic as possible!!!

The layout become heart shaped... The exterior line of the coaster; where the side beams meet the concrete, forms a heart shaped line.

Hope you like it.

I need answers to these and many other questions...

How high is the railings that goes around the track?

How to bend/shape the track?

How wide and high are the wooden part of the track?

Feel free to send what ever info or response you might have!!!

Thanks for helping me/ Durkadurka

A screen shot of the layout - made in No limits coaster Simulator!

The heart shape should be obvious!

I build it in scale 1:74 ,

1 meter or 3,28 feet on the model = 74 meter or 242,7 feets or 80,8 yards in the real.

1 cm or 0,39 inch ------II------- = 74 cm or 2,43 feet's or 29 inches in the real.

1:74 is a scale that isn't to big nor' small to work with.

The model building site are 90 cm * 90 cm = 35,4 inches * 35,4 inches.
