DerekRx
Took a few pictures today while at the park of the area where the coaster will be going. Work is coming along nicely at clearing the area out. one final goodbye to the wet-dry slides clearing out and flattening markings by the games goodbye slides
BRTeller
Well I live 45 minutes from there and go to Hershey all the time and personally I am bored with there coasters and SR isn't that great.... So I think this will be a great addition, and I rode Maverick and they should have kept the Barrel Roll even though it might be rough but inversions rock! Â So I hope this means that the park will be a little more exciting because at the moment I end up going at least 6 hours away. I still will and longer for Credits but maybe not repeat the same ones like I normally do.... Â So Hershey I hope you come through with this because you announced that Inverted looping thing like a year or two ago. Then it was canceled, I'm still excited anyways. -Brandon EDIT: There getting rid of the slides i loved them....Personally more then there new water park...Tear that thing out .... the Tornado slides are okay though. DerekRx
^Thank you for inducing a headache worse than any Vekoma. Â Kids, stay in school. Most importantly, pay attention in English class!
Ccron10
Great pics. It's about time we've got some news on what's going on! Â It looks like Tidal Force Catering Area will be removed in the process which is good because there's like 3 or 4 of those places over there. DATman
^^^ 3. SPELL CHECK YOUR POSTS!!!! Â From Terms of Service. Â Come on. You're in what, 9th grade? That means you've been taking an English class for 8 years now. Use the language correctly, as this isn't AIM. Â As for the coaster, it seems like they have a TON of work to do for a spring opening. I mean, it may be that Maverick was built so early, but it seems like such a big coaster should've started construction at least two months ago. rgb60
It's not really that words were misspelled that the wrong version of the same sounding word was used. "There" instead of "their" or "they're." "Witch" instead of "which." "Threw" instead of "through." Spell check wouldn't pick up any of those. Plus way too many "ands" used. Punctuation and new sentences are your friends.
Ccron10
There's been a new update on construction on Screamscape today.  http://www.screamscape.com/html/hersheypark.htm  Looks like there's more space in that area than I thought there would be. Also I did read it over and checked it the first time, I was tired. Again sorry I will do my best to not do that anymore. -Brandon
knowit
Actually, according to what I've heard, the Tidal Force Catering area will remain and the coaster will interact with the pavillion.
Ccron10
If it's going to interact with the pavilions, then I hope that the double corkscrews go over the buildings. That'd be cool! What about CRR catering?
King of Ka
I personally can't wait to get on Fahrenheit. I live close to Hershey, and I'm madly in love with Intamin, so you can imagine that I'll be taking a trip this summer. It has a cool combination of elements, and I'm really excited to experience the Norwegian Loop. As for the lift/drop, it doesn't seem even slightly gimmicky to me, and I'd be surprised if it didn't provide some nice air, especially in the back. Â What I look forward to next: beyond-vertical lifts.
yankees15
Does anyone know the ride is coming along? Is there any track on site yet? I was just wondering if anyone knew since I haven't heard anything in a while.
rgb60
If the weather cooperates, I might go to HP for Candylane this coming Sunday. I'll let you know what's going on if I do.
knowit
ATTENTION NANTIMI 11! (Actually, there will be 10 replying since i am one of the 11)  Would all Nantimi 11 please e-mail me at the following address with your e-mail address. I would like to talk to you all about a t-shirt design for the opening day. I would like this to be a group design. I would also like the Nantimi 11 to stay in touch through a e-mail list. Also, Hersheypark is my home park. I am very knowledgeable of the area and what it has to offer in terms of hotels, eateries, and other attractions in the area if people are travelling from out of town. If anyone has any questions or needs any info on this they can contact me. Thanks a bunch.   Knowit  crochunisclan@msn.com
stormrider
Yeah, I wish they made a nicer animation. However, the public doesn't really know what NoLimits is, so I think it's all right that Hershey used it.
Ccron10
Hershey isn't the only people using NL for their ride rendering, it's being used for Pony Express, the mini spinnig wild mouse design that Zamperla is making and the 90 degree inverse coaster rendering. Â I'll be heading to HP at the beginning of December to check out construction and take pics.
coasterdude5
The parks might see NL as a cheaper alternative to the professional type. Does anybody know how much those usually run? Â I'm surprised track hasn't been sighted yet. I wanna see how the colors will look in real-life.
Ccron10
^Well, one of my friends went to the park yesterday and he might know and like I said above, I'll be going soon so I'll look while I'm there.
alpengeist04
Is anyone else bothered that they used NoLimits for their ride animation? Â No, not really. I'm more interested in the construction pictures and riding it next year.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY
to be honest, it does look cool..... Â .....but.... Â why did they use "No Limits Coaster Sim"?! Â I mean honestly, don't they have better programs they could use?
yankees15
^Hershey probably just wanted to save a few bucks. I mean the video does show what the ride will be like and no one will really care about this video when there are real POV's  Does anyone know how the ride is coming together? asr
No track or supports on site yet, but some footers have been layed down.
