Mr.Roller77
Wow, didn't see that coming! Baltimore matched Denver point for point, and beat them by three in the end! If the Ravens play like that in the championship game, they'll make it to the big dance with ease! Forget the records during the year, if you play your best in the playoffs, you got a chance, just ask the N.Y. Giants!
Double0Kevin
That was a great game. The Niners/Packers game is pretty awesome as well. Let's go Niners!
CoasterRollin
I'm surprised by the Ravens winning (my team, let's gooooooo!), and I'm also surprised that both of these divisional games tonight are going the same way: a shoot-out between each team, going score for score, keep driving it back to a level playing field. We'll see which way the 2nd half goes for GB and SF.
Hilltopper39
Wow, I really didn't expect San Fran to to dominate Green Bay like that. Kaepernick looked like a hall of gamer last night.
Philrad71
Definitely a surprise to see Manning throw that INT and Flacco throw that 70 yard bomb with 30 seconds left! Â Guess that blows me prediction out of the water for Denver winning the Super Bowl. Now I will root for anybody that beats New England....and hope to win a bunch of money in my Super Bowl pools so we can take a vacation somewhere nice this spring - with theme parks! Sir Clinksalot
What a couple of amazing games yesterday. Today's games only wish they could be as good, although I hope they will be. Â That Denver/Baltimore game was crazy. I had Denver picked in my pool but I was pretty much rooting for the Ravens because I'm such a Ray Lewis fan. I'm very glad they won. Â As for my 49ers, hopefully they alleviated some doubt that people had in them. Whoever they face next week has a better Defense than GB, but neither of them have a better offense. If it wasn't for Kaepernick's Pick 6 in the 1st quarter the game wouldn't have even been THAT close. Â Only 1 win away for BAL/SF before we get the HarSuperBowl. Hilltopper39
Interesting stat here, in the post season Peyton manning is 9-11 in 15 seasons with 8 first round losses while Joe Flacco is 7-4 in 5 seasons with 0 first round losses. It's hard to say a first ballot hall-of-famer like Manning is over rated but sometimes I do think his stats and his personality overshadow his effectiveness especially in big games. Philrad71
^ I think that the Buffalo Bills mugged the Broncos after the two minute warning and played the rest of the game!

Hilltopper39
Wow, what a game. I'm not normally one to criticize coaches but Pete Carroll left 6 points on the field by not attempting field goals in the red zone in the first half.
Coupon
Why the heck did Pete Carroll call that time out? Seahawks would've won if he hadn't called it.

Mr.Roller77
Now why can't my team, the Buffalo Bills, play like that?? We'll always be losers, no matter who we get as a coach.Anyways, I just hope New England gets their butts kicked.

He has a history of losing games on 4th and short calls. Texas-USC anyone? I guess it comes with the turf when you're an aggressive/arrogant playcaller. Sir Clinksalot
As a 49ers fan I was kind of torn as to who I wanted to win that game. A game at home against Seattle who trampled us a few weeks ago (in Seattle) or going to Atlanta. I think we actually got the better end of it. That ATL defense better play a hell of a lot better than they did today.  Should be a good game though.
Double0Kevin
^ I'm happy with how it went. Atlanta is going to have a really tough time with Kap and the dominant defense we have. I like our chances of a trip to New Orleans.

We'll always be losers, no matter who we get as a coach.Anyways, I just hope New England gets their butts kicked. Â It's the Charlie Brown syndrome (or is Cleveland Brown's syndrome?) where every season we get enticed into thinking that the Bills might actually turn the corner and then they (QB, defense, coaches, etc) screw it all up & yet the fans keep falling for it year after year. And yes, New England is handling Houston pretty good right now...just like I figured they would. And by the way...who the hell is Shane Vereen? Â Baltimore better come out swinging next week - Ray Lewis, I'm counting on your team, man! Â Although I am rooting for San Francisco to win it all now. Atlanta's defense looked verrrrrry suspect today and if they were to get to the Super Bowl and play NE (if the Ravens don't win), they would never be able to beat Belichick with a Tom Brady led offense. Whereas I feel that SF's defense would stand a very good chance of shutting them down. Â I could just see Atlanta's defense trying to defend Gronkowski & Hernandez when they couldn't shut down Seattle's one tight end (Miller) today. That would not be a good match-up at all & I could see NE winning in a blow-out with Tom Brady winning another MVP...and that would definitely fail. Â Go 49'ers! Meteornotes
That Ravens-Broncos game was one of the best football games I have ever seen. Really do think the Ravens are the "team of destiny" now, and can see them winning the Superbowl. Guess Ray Lewis announcing his retirement woke them from their last month of the season slumber. Â 49ers-Packers was a joke. Never have I seen a defense just stop playing like that before. Apparently tackling is something not emphasized by the GB coaching staff. Â Atlanta-Seattle was a snoozefest until the fourth quarter, and NE-Houston was never competitive. Now hoping for an Atlanta-Baltimore Superbowl. Hilltopper39
With the four teams that are left any combination will make for a pretty decent Superbowl. I guess Baltimore vs Atlanta would be the least interesting matchup but even that would be a good game. I guess I'm pulling for New England vs. San Francisco for a re-match of what was one of the better regular season games of the year. That or Baltimore vs. San Francisco for the all Harbaugh Bowl and the possible exposure in the national media that might come of it for my Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Football program (their father Jack coached Western for like 25 years, and I'm sure that would be mentioned several times in the two weeks leading up to the game). Sir Clinksalot
Something tells me Dom Capers is going to be out as the GB Defensive Coordinator. And he should have been after last season. Â With the amount of talent on that team they should have more than one Super Bowl win. Same thing applies to Peyton's Colts from a few years back. Â I'm totally rooting for a Ravens/Niners Super Bowl but I'd hate to have Ray Lewis' last game be a loss to my 49ers.
Mr.Roller77
I hate to say this, but unless Tom Brady completely screws up, New England has a real good shot at winning another Super Bowl. I think San Francisco is the only team that can stop them, but I could be wrong. Baltimore and Atlanta are really good teams too, it'll be fun to watch what happens!
