Real
Yes. Predicting that Romo will collapse is almost as sound as predicting the Sun will rise. Him and LeBron need to hook up and go on a hunt to find where their game goes near the last part of a game. Its just funny because Jones still stands behind him. Anyone else, hed have let go. I think hes got a man-crush on him or something. A BIG LOL to the Vikings too. That whole team chokes in the second half.
Mechanic
Just for the sake of putting out actual facts, rather than perception or hearsay, Tony Romo has the highest 4th quarter qb rating of any active player in the league. Don't believe me? Go do some research on it. Much of the criticism we hear about Romo sounds eerily familiar to what we heard about Peyton Manning earlier in his career. Now Peyton's among the greatest to ever play the game according to many. A couple seasons from now when Romo's wearing a ring, or 2, it'll be the same thing. tdub96
Ravens D kicked some serious ass for me in fantasy this week. 3 defensive TD's!!! Plus, having Aaron Rodgers isnt bad either.
Real
Just for the sake of putting out actual facts, rather than perception or hearsay, Tony Romo has the highest 4th quarter qb rating of any active player in the league. Now Peyton's among the greatest to ever play the game according to many. A couple seasons from now when Romo's wearing a ring, or 2, it'll be the same thing. Just because you are great in the regular season or in meaningless games doesnt mean you are great when you need to be the most. Again, ask Lebron James. How many MVP's? Scoring titles? Im a Colts fan but I could tell you Peyton would swap out all of his stats for a few more rings. Romo still has yet to prove he can succeed when his team needs it most. I dont doubt hes got great 4th quarter stats but when it counts, he just doesnt have it. He still makes some terrible, terrible mistakes that by now he shouldnt be making at the rate he does. Im not trying to be a dick, I think Romo has a lot of potential. But...he hasnt conquered his demons when it matters most. 2006 - botched hold for game winning FG - But it was a respectable 89.6 2007 - NFC Divisial - 64.7 Rating 2008 - Final game of the year - needs to win to get in over Eagles - 55.8 Rating 2009 - NFC Divisial Playoff against the Vikings - 66.1 2010 - I wont even go there. But in his 4 playoff appearances his QB Rating is a 69.05. Ill dog on Peyton (whom I love) because his playoff record isnt stellar either. Hes a stats machine and while he hasnt had the best team ever at times, hes pushed them as far as he can push. Sometimes he failed, other times it was other players. But Peyton did succeed once. But Romo's "crunch" time stats are dreadful. Edited October 3, 2011 by Real

Hilltopper39
I just want to say I'm really happy for my Titans performance so far this season. Picking up Matt Hasselbeck has turned out to be a great move and keep us competitive before throwing Jake fluffy, fluffy bunny filled with medicine and goo out there. While losing Kenny Britt is a huge letdown other young players are really stepping up. I've felt like we've had pretty good drafts the last couple of years and it's finally starting to show up. If it just wasn't for the stupid week 1 mishap against Jacksonsville we'd still be perfect... I like Tennessee this year and still think they are way undervalued. I've got some money on them to beat Houston for the AFC south this year and every week that bet looks better and better. The week 1 loss to Jacksonville was a fluke, I expect Tennessee to beat them by two touchdowns when they play next in Nashville. I liked Locker in the draft this year a lot more than Gabbert and Ponder but it looks like it may be a few years until we see his potential. The future in Tennessee looks good, if they could only get Chris Johnson to start playing as well as his contract indicates that he should...... Philrad71
^ I think the Titans will be the sleeper team this year. Not too many people gave them a chance with a new coach and new veteran QB. I called it at the beginning of the season that they would be the surprise team to make the playoffs. Of course, I would rather see the Bills pull off a Cinderella year, but I just don't think they have enough key players to make any kind of noise...especially on defense. This is going to be an interesting game against the struggling Eagles on Sunday. While I am proud that they have exceeded expectations this year by going 3-1, I'm still not convinced that this is a playoff team yet. Although if it wouldn't have been for that horrible call on the completion/non completion yesterday, the Bills could have possibly been 4-0 today. That was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen in a pro game and I have seen a lot of bad call games in the last 25 years of watching football! Totally awful! Your plan is to get ejected by mid 2nd quarter by intentionally punching someone? This may be the best quote from a WR, even more so from anything from T.O., Moss or Ochocinco. I know this sounds like a mad man talking, but I can kind of empathize with Marshall here. He did come out and say that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and I'm sure he hasn't been able to get it completely under control as of yet. It took me about 8 years of counseling, therapy, and the proper medication combination (I probably went through about 20 different combinations) before I got everything settled. If he was just diagnosed during the off season, I'm sure he is still fighting through things, and he will come out with comments like this. He might even be taking a medication that is actually making him more manic than he was before. Who really knows. I used to make comments that I "needed" to feel manic and I wasn't living without feeling this so-called emotion. I think he is just having a hard time right now, and honestly he might just feel like busting someone's skull in because he thinks it will make him feel better. I kind of feel for the guy, and I hate the bad perception he is getting because of his comments. Sometimes the words that could come out of his mouth can be slightly uncontrollable, though the people on the outside looking in may see the comments as being able to be held back. I was listening to Mike & Mike this morning and Golic flat out called Marshall "nuts" and that is sad. I wish this guy the best of luck.

Hotlanta
Peyton Manning has decided to play for the Denver Broncos. I don't know why he was so averse to playing in the NFC. It's not like the leagues never play each other. I think he best shot at another ring could have been with the Niners.
Philrad71
^ And now ESPN will have to follow up the non-stop Peyton Manning Sports Center hype with non-stop "Where Does Tebow Go?" until he gets traded. I'm just happy the Bills landed Mario Williams in free agency! Yeah it was ridiculous money, but he's not a troublemaker and actually wants to be here in Buffalo...this fits right in with the blue collar hard-working work ethic that fans around here love. They are going to have a hard time keeping that jersey in stock for a while!
pdcon
manning made a stupid decision, his dad is all in control and tell his sons where to play, he only chose the broncos because he didn't want to be in the same division as his brother, because if he wanted to win, he would have chose the niners. hes going to get tore up behind that O-line they have in Denver
BeemerBoy
his dad is all in control and tell his sons where to play, Yes, I'm rather certain this is exactly how it all went down. When will those boys ever get to grow up and make decisions own their own?!? Roger Goodell and the Player's Association should really step in and finally try to liberate those nice young men from that wretched overlord, Archie Manning. Oh, the horror.
