For the people who live in small towns, what's the closest big city near your hometown.

 

I'll start with mine: I live in Zwijndrecht and the closest big city is Rotterdam

I live in St. Petersburg, and it kind of is big, but Tampa is close by, and it's a little bit bigger.

It depends on how big it has to be, to be called a big city.

 

My home town Randers is a big city in Denmark - approx. 70,000 citizens, so I guess it's the nearest big city.

But if I should mention another big city nearby, it has to be Århus.

Closest city for me is St.Louis...about 25 min. to SFSTL.

Nearest City: Austin which is about an hour drive away depending on traffic. Going to Austin from San Antonio is the worst drive ever because of traffic as you get into Austin, it just stops.
