WonderlandFan Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 I just came to a rather depressing realization: Canada's Wonderland and Michigan's Adventure are the only two CF parks to not tease or announce a single thing for next year. Dorney, World of Fun, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, California Great Adveture, Knotts, Carowinds, Cedar Point and even Valleyfair have all done some kind of announcement or teasing for a new attraction next year. Some of those are for the park's sister water park though, but it was teased as an announced through the main park. I didn't include CF's water parks because of that. A few new sacrezone (CRYOHAZARD, Plague and Trick or Treat)  I also noticed Club Blood has a new name "Club Blood Revamp"... Maybe they will save it this year!  What do you guys think? Any trucks would kick up lots of dust posing a possible heath risk to the very packed Splash Works. I agree that this theory doesn't explain the lack of teasing for 2017, but you never know. Backlot Stunt Coaster had finally gotten rid of the on-ride photos last year and the on-ride photo building was removed during the 2015/2016 off-season. Behemoth, Ghoster Coaster, Leviathan, The Fly, and Taxi Jam have on-ride photos available for purchase. Wonder Mountain's Guardian and Skyhawk do have on-ride photos, although they are not available for purchase as they're only momentarily featured on a TV at the exit. Although teasing mostly consists of telling Tony Clark to think up something and tweet it. It's not like teasing costs that much money...  I am actually quite confident we will be receiving that green B&M track. I remember from the photos it looked like there was lift hill track, so floorless/standing(probablynot)/wingrider. Even dive coaster would be possible but it didn't look like dive track. With the flat rides mentioned above they're all different and they're not a massive coaster, it's so much different. There'd be a massive amount of land clearing going on at this stage, not just stakes in the ground. Plus, an announcement would have likely already have happened by now for certain and if not the park would be doing a large amount of teasing. Trust me, if a coaster was coming, we'd know about it for sure. And by teasing no, they don't just use social media to stir things up, with a large coaster it's usually more than that. Â Â well funny you mention that.. did you look at the ppictures, theres land clearing, the removal of skyrider two years ago to make room for something new. Where did I say I was confident though lol.. NO where. I if you follow CWMania on facebook have stated I do not think it's coming in 2017, and that this is prep work for 2018.
