AaronYee
Thats too much, I dont think they would construct a brand new coaster that stays close to Behemoth  I think that my plan is a more possible layout for the brand new coaster, but anything could be possible

I have no idea what we're getting for 2016

Also some interaction with Behemoth would enhance Behemoth at the same time
WonderlandFan
if they were to go into the trees, i'd want a blitz or a woodie to through them
TorontoFCfan
I think 2016 we will get a Drop Slide complex, then one of those half pipe flat rides and maybe a flying scooter ride for planet snoopy. you know something new for the kiddies and a lot of parks are adding them now so it is a possibility. Then we get the big project in 2017 with that Wingrider or Floorless or whatever you want to predict.

TorontoFCfan
Something like those Motorcycle coasters you see in Europe... Not too big, not too small. That would be alright. But this just came to my attention. All this talk about Leviathan having footers before the season started are wrong..... They started making them in OCTOBER!!! So we can still possibly see a 2016 coaster. Nothing to be sure about here 100% Cause now they are planting grass in the land clearing areas. We just need to wait. We just gotta chill and wait. Around July cement trucks for footers were appearing, so we still got a few months left to see what actually is going to happen
thirstydeer
I am going to the park on Friday. I don't know much about this park besides what I read in the park index. What kind of crowds should I expect on Friday? Should I get Fast Pass? I would like to ride all the coasters as fast as possible. I am not one who likes to wait in lines but also don't want to be that guy who bought a fast pass and then see walk ons. I will be there at opening. Any advice on how to attack the park most efficiently so I can head back to my hotel 4 hours away? Â Arrive as early as you can and ride Guardian of Wonder Mountain and The Bat first. They are not covered by any of the fast passes and due to their low ridership numbers a long line establishes quickly and can be constant throughout the day. coasterjunkie1975
And Wonderland is the only park that I have been to that always has a long line for a boomerang coaster so yes if you want to get that credit without waiting a long time for it then head there first. thirstydeer
Are there any planned get togethers at Wonderland this summer? My wife get sick in the car much less on Leviathan so I don't really have anyone to go to the park with. I was going to attend the TPR Leviathan bash and paid for my ticket but at the last minute I had to bow out due to a family emergency and have only been once ever since. Track was already being erected in October. Digging for the footers started way before than.

CedarFair1
So as of today there are around 20 red stakes in the land clearing area behind Minebuster and 4 red stakes on the splash works path behind the basketball game. I marked everything on one of the pictures below EVEN MORE land clearing now behind back lot stunt coaster orange marker in Minebusters queline either their draining the lake and don't care about the fish cause theres hardly any water left and a bunch of fish are sitting their beached and dead... or something else happened.. Skyriders old spot land clearing over by Behemoths Helix new splash works entrance being built looks like we have pieces to a crane arriving, these are counter weights for cranes the MASSIVE land clearing behind Minebuster now has around 20 red stakes Yellow is land clearing as of May 26, 2015 Red is stakes as of May 26, 2015
Coaster Hero
Off topic, but I'm rather annoyed that the Google Map of CW doesn't include Leviathan. I hope they update it soon, because I'm curious as to its exact placement in the park
canadianparkfan
^^Now I'm really curious as to what's going on with that land clearing. If cranes are about to arrive, it must be a big enough project. Â ^Google maps doesn't show leviathan, however if you have an iPhone or iPad, the default map app shows it.
TorontoFCfan
Stange.... I have Leviathan on my google earth.... i'm not sure if you guys meant Earth when you said maps. Â Also, I think the weights are for a Hole puncher/drill to make holes for footers.
loop-de-loop
Hopefully once Splashworks opens we will get a better view of the construction area.

Either way, with all this land clearing, and now some kind of heavy machinery arriving, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see some sort of large addition next year.  Another good point was brought up on CWmania. As of now, skyrider's plot of land hasn't been filled with grass, or anything as of yet. If they weren't planning on using it anytime soon, you think they'd have laid down some kind of grass or turf by now.
WonderlandFan
I'm thinking/hoping that those weights are to drill holes for footers.
TorontoFCfan
I have a feeling the station isn't going in Skyrider's spot. If it were a wing coaster, that plot of land would be perfect for a pretzel loop or a turn around. Maybe they'll squeeze it in between Minebuster and Stunt Coaster or something...
