tarheel1231
YES! Maybe we'll get to see animation soon.
ArgoZ
The snow on Wonder Mountain almost looks too perfect to be natural. Reminds me of the Matterhorn. Should Wonderland consider adding fake snow to the mountain? It looks great with the real stuff!
EastCoastKid
My partner and I are making the trip up to Toronto from NE Pennsylvania this summer for a mini-vacation. I'm extremely excited to see how this comes together! *prays for animations*
tarheel1231
UPDATE! Canada's Wonderland posted new photos of construction going on for WMG: Winter Wonderland as viewed from the 60 foot level of Wonder Mountain. Ride electrical cabinets. Ride track inside inside of Wonder Mountain. Source
COASTER FREAK 11
Well that looks to be normal dark ride track and not coseter-esq track. Hmm, didn't they say this would run on a coaster style track?
Myself
It looks like coaster track if you consider the stuff under plastic is the track.
coasterfreak101
Man, complain about Leviathan's length all you want, but that thing is gorgeous.

Myself
Not a problem! Not sure what that is on the floor in front of it, but it does look like traditional dark ride track.
EastCoastKid
Does this have an opening date yet? I'm planning on visiting in July, and it looks like they still have a ways to go...

arby
Not a problem! Not sure what that is on the floor in front of it, but it does look like traditional dark ride track. Â I'm guessing it still ties in. Perhaps it gets mounted between the two track rails.

Diamondbacker27
I honestly hope Kings Island gets one of these in the next couple years...
loop-de-loop
I'd imagine that if WMG is successful, which I'm sure it will be, that more of these dark rides will be rolled out into Cedar Fair parks.
Myself
I honestly hope Kings Island gets one of these in the next couple years... Â Just throwing out there that they have a giant metal box that was recently vacated that could house such a ride... Â Count me as one of the people who wants to see this succeed and spread to other parks in the chain.
jedimaster1227
^Do you really think The Crypt's former enclosure would be enough space-wise to host a dark ride?
sonofrollercoasters
Going to Canada in a few days. I should have some pics and some interesting stuff. Hitting mainly Edmonton. I will most likely do a little update. Cant Wait!
Myself
^^It would definitely be a tighter fit and a smaller/shorter ride than at CW, but it could work. The amount of land it takes up is definitely smaller than that of Wonder Mountain, but the latter has narrower walls as it gets closer to the top and already has Thunder Run that Guardian has to be built around. If the Crypt's building were retrofitted with multiple floors as CW is apparently doing, I could see something to this effect working in there. It certainly would have to be compact, but I think it could be done.

vacoaster09
^Do you really think The Crypt's former enclosure would be enough space-wise to host a dark ride? Â If they impose an elevator lift and utilize multiple floors (a la transformers) I think they could pull it off in the Crypt Building. Likewise I think they could pull of this ride inside Volcano: The Blast Coaster because there seems to be room inside the mountain in this video (granted some structural mods/reinforcement may be needed). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II4aOE_i3oQ

rcjp
Wow I had no idea what the inside of the volcano looked like, for some reason I thought it wouldn't be such an "open" area.
