Edward
Those 2 coasters are made for small and slim people. Love the pictures of your face when crambing in. Oh and yeah... Vid! Vid! Vid! Vid! Vid! Vid! /Edward
Pufferfish
Wow, Robb and Casey crammed into a tiny tobogan together. That must have been the tightest predicament I have ever seen two people get in to. Those pictures are priceless. Were you stuck in the car at the end, or did you just pop out when they lifted the cage?
robbalvey
^ Oddly enough the Miler Kiddie Coaster at Wonderpark in the Cincy Mills mall was a tighter squeeze!!!! This was the ultimate "Clench and Squish" moment!

TheRapidsNerd
Ya know, Meteor and the kiddie death coaster look doable. Enjoyed the PoV and pics. Robb and Casey must know the secret to bending the space/time continuum. Wow! Oh yeah, a coworker's wife had a baby boy over the weekend and guess what they named him? Griffon! How cool is that? Ok, back on the focus of this thread. Very very cool and looking forward to more pics and vids of clenching, squishing, pounding etc... // Mod Edit: In the future do not post back to back. Just simply edit your previous post. Thank you. Whoops! Was not aware of that option. Will do from now on.

Humerously, when we first saw the kid today, my coworker said to his wife"Hey, is he flipping you the bird again?" 1 day on the planet, and the kid is showing his roots. DCody
Holy crap...Meteor used to be in MY HOMETOWN, Lemont, Illinois. Hillcrest Park was a very tiny, private park (not an amusement park, literally a park) and the coaster wasn't open to the public. Like, ever. Supposedly it was used for "events" but I never met a child or adult who had ridden it. It was called the Little Dipper. I never got to ride it-- in fact I didn't even know it existed until I had long since moved out of Lemont. I have no idea how they kept a roller coaster a secret in such a small town, or why it was there in the first place. I'm so glad it's finally in a place where I'll be able to ride it! kraken613
I want a little woddie like that in my back yard! I actually think it would fit to! The wonders of not living in the city! How does Tabbogan not kill you with the lateral forces!?!
MidtownCoaster
wow! Talk about blast from the past. I had barely heard about this park, but apparently they got all the rides from the old Enchanted Forest in Porter, IN. My grandmother used to take me to that park all the time when I was a little kid. I actually rode that Toboggan in its original season at Enchanted Forest. Crazy to see it (and the madmouse and kiddie coaster) still operating. Thanks for the updates!
the sound
^ Lol, i live in the city and it would probably still fit!

bgwfreak
You guys all must be shattered! Are we quoting the Rolling Stones now? Robb, you give me hope for fitting in those crazy creations. If you guys can, then surely I can. lol I was going to get my first toboggan credit this year, but sadly Conneaut bit the dust before I could get there. KrakenKing
The toboggan coaster was actually smooth around the helix portion... but when it got to the small drops, that's where we encountered pain.
Carnage
^ Sounds like the average toboggan ride. I managed to fit into Lakemont's toboggan easier then I did Conneauts. After seeing the pics of Americka's, I think Lakemont's is missing that super padding that Conneaut and Americka have.
hyperlink27
Thank you for the great update! I have always wanted to try a "toboggan" but now I am rethinking, it looks painful... Kudos for Robb for another update!!
snorkymn
Robb and Elissa, thanks for all your hard work putting the trip together. It was definitely a fun experience, and one I won't soon forget. I was on the 5:30am shuttle to the airport, so didn't get a chance to say goodbye. Thanks to everyone I met, and I would have enjoyed meeting more of you if you had kept your nametags on! (Nametags should be mandatory for getting ERT or in to fuctions, instead of the wristbands.) I'm one of the few that didn't take a camera and/or computer, but I might type up a trip report later. So just a few humble opinions of mine about the trip. Best Woodie on the Trip: Kentucky Rumbler (No pain, only fun and excitement!) Most Overrated Woodie on the Trip: Voyage (WAY too much pain) Most Painful on the trip: Voyage, followed closely by Legend and Son of Beast Most friendly park, both employees and customers: Holiday World Best Park with Perks (Free drinks and Sunscreen): Holiday World Best Park for overall atmosphere: Indiana Beach Best ERT time: Kentucky Rumbler, followed VERY closely by the Bumper cars at Indiana Beech.) Best place to Ride The Beast: 2nd to Last row of the Train. Best running of the Bulls moment: Everyone running to Maverick for Hotel ERT. Not as good running of the Bulls moment: Firehawke (Dang you pesky sprinters!!!) Best tip on the trip: Go as a single rider on Firehawke and avoid the hour long line. Hardest working Coaster Rider award: Brent.. he was first at nearly every single coaster, and first to complete all his credits at KI. Most fun to watch ride a coaster: Matteo I love the passion and kid-like enthusiasm and enchantment that you show on the coasters!!!! Wow, he really does make sounds like that: Robb.. yes, he does make the same sounds on the videos as in real life when you ride with him, no matter how big or small the coaster! Woot! He's still having fun after so many credits! Biggest Disappointment: Mean Streak has been trimmed so much, you practically stop on the way down the first hill. The ride has been turned in to Mild Streak.. or just Mild.. there wasn't a streak to it. It used to kick butt! Longest Moment: Waiting over 8 hours in line to ride Maverick. OMFG, please stop!: Listening for the 1000th time on the bus how great Tatsu or El Toro was compared to anything we were riding on the trip. bgwfreak
^ 8 hours for Maverick? Uh no. 45 minutes was long enough.
CoasterFanatic
How does Tabbogan not kill you with the lateral forces!?! There is a "third-wheel" doing down the spiral that limits the speed.
Meteornotes
Nametags should be mandatory for getting ERT or in to fuctions, instead of the wristbands. As someone that has participated in two trips so far, I have to totally disagree with this. The wristbands are the perfect ID device for one very simple reason: you can't easily lose it. The nametag could come off, especially on a coaster. Plus the wristbands are brightly colored and easy for park employees to spot. I suppose since I'm simple minded and easily confused and would lose body parts if they were not attached might have something to do with this, but I greatly prefer the wristband. dt
arrowfanman
^ I totally agree with Dave. Some parks even actually requested that we remove the nametags while riding during ERT sessions. Wrist bands are safer and actually far easier to notice. -Jahan

On the Spain and UK trips people had their name tags on most of the trip, but on this one it seemed like after day 2 or 3 I was the only one! And we did ask people to keep them on, but most people took them off. With 100 people it's hard enough to get to know everyone's name when all you're used to is screen names, but it was even more difficult when they weren't wearing nametags. I think for future trips with 100 people will should make it mandatory that everyone wears the name tag more often, whether it's for ERT or not, but just in general. The wristbands ARE the most perfect identifier for ERTs and other group functions and most parks LOVED the fact that everyone in the group had them on. --Robb
