As for the cyclone, I doubt it's got a splash, as you say, because it's on the beach. so whatever water is there would probably sooner overflow back to the ocean rather than pile up. also, I didnt see manhatten in all those pics, and coney is pretty close to manhatten. But I do beleive that NYC could flood because the ocean is rising an inch or something a year and if a strong hurricane hits, then it could flood. This could affect the subway systems very badly.
