Golfie
^ I agree - it's pretty tough to see any of it from the webcam, so this will be a cool surprise as soon as someone heads to the mall!

Sticky Nicky
So if the center fountain is gone for good, were the streams on either end drained too? Obviously the pond on the Paul Bunyan end is still there but what about the small pond on the west side? The small fountain by Truckin is still there, But it is not connected to the Log Chute anymore. It has it's own pumps now. There is a blocker piece uder the two bridges that the water used to cross. As for the stream, I am afraid that it is al dried up now and will probably stay that way for a long time.
Sticky Nicky
It seems that the webcams got stuck at 9:40 and 10:02 am this morning.
Moose
Hmm. ALl the "nature" in this is being taken out AFTER Cedar Fair is out of the picture but yet they are the ones with the concrete jungle reputation. I will wait till everything gets done, but I fear this park is losing all the charm it once had.
Golfie
^As with any construction process, they'll probably replace the foliage after everything is finished.

TheRapidsNerd
Wasn't it in the gameplan to convert Ghost Blaster's to something...hang on, I'll look back through the thread....(Herb Alpert elevator music plays) Like I said earlier, I heard today that Ghost Blasters may be staying Ghost Blasters...even though there is artwork concept to change it to Flying Dutchman's Revenge. Aha! Answered my own question and rendered this post pointless. Or not. Any update on Ghost Blasters?
Moose
I agree ghost blasters was not the greatest attraction, but it was still a nice ride that families seemed to enjoy. I admit, my friend and I rode it 3 times but that's because we are both competitive. I am glad they didn't tear it down.

Sticky Nicky
The Park has added it's March calender. It says Nick Universe opens on Friday March 15, but the whole thing has screwed up days. March 15 is a Saturday not a Friday. Hours: 9:00am-11:00pm http://info.theparkatmoa.com/Hours2.asp?date=3/15/

Sticky Nicky
Looty has got some new photos for us. UPDATE: First thing I noticed today was that SYE received some of its Danny Phantom themeing. There are characters on the ride unit and the entrance theme has arrived as well. Painting continues on Tumbler (Jimmy Neutron)...and there are even a few Jimmy Neutron banners going up too. Work is progressing on the east retail store and should be finishing up within the next few weeks. Signage has gone up on Little Shaver for its new theme too. The new Red Baron is here (Blue's Skidoo)...and it's really tiny. Im not too sure of this decision just because they are reducing capacity with this ride. Oh and they said they are excited to offer an airplane ride that both parents and kids can ride together (Red Baron was only for kids), but there's one problem...the max weight (im told) is like 180 pounds! As a former ride operator, I can tell you that there are a lot of parents, among others, who weigh more than 180 pounds. O well i guess. Some funky structures have gone up by Spongebob. They are part of the themeing and those arches are where the entrance and exit will be. The surfboard and seats are installed on Avatar and word is that testing will begin next week! The electrical panel is complete and it appears as if they are putting the "finishing touches" on it. The Reptar kiddie bumpers have arrived and are waiting downstairs. They look a lot better than I thought they would...although they are extremely tiny. Workers were putting more theme components up on Danny Phantom as I was leaving so that should look different next time. That's all for now. kraken613
Nice update! I really like how they at that angle made it look like SB's drop was going into that volcano? Thats what I think it is anyways... Im really waiting to see SB test. Euro-Fighters just look so cool!
Golfie
I really like how all the theming is going. Plus, I'm totally in love with the Blue's Clues ride - I grew up with that show! The construction crew is in full gear right now for everything to be in ship shape for March 15!
coastercrazed49
Yeah the theming looks great and I can't wait till they add some color. I'm looking forward to seeing SpongeBob in action soon.
