WildStangAlex
I might have to do MOA & WPOA later this summer if the $'s are there. Looks like you can fly right in and the mall is really close to the airport. Nice! Good you're doing Valleyfair!, but don't forget Como Town. There's a kiddie credit there and one of the most enjoyable drop towers in existence. I'd say you can skip como, it is very much geared only towards children. Just IMHO. haiderodes
How many cars will be able to run on Spongebob? I assume they will have a load and unload station.
Golfie
My sleeps been just awful the past couple weeks, but it's been fun to watch the webcam. I just woke up at 12:00 today. Like kraken said, How long until SB or Avatar start testing would you say?

Thanks for the good info, all. Didn't realize VF was so close and never heard of Como Town. Will look that up this weekend. Hmmm.....must keep planning trip. Like kraken said, How long until SB or Avatar start testing would you say? (gives mock dirty look to Golfie) As for testing, dunno. Looked like they were putting the chain lift on SpongeBob as well as framing the station last night. Since Splat O Sphere is still being built next to Avatar, it'll probably be a few days. Gotta keep that nice surf board and new set of LIMs or LSMs pretty. Until stations are built and the dirt stops flyin, it'll probably be a while. March 14 isn't that far off, though. Once everthing's done, there will be some great camera angles for stills and videos. Not sure when I'll get up there, but really looking forward to filming this unique park as well as the stuff nearby that everybody's suggested. Depending on when I finally get to Bloomington, meeting up with the local TPR peeps would be great.

Golfie
I love how intimate of a place this is now that these new expansions are taking place... The only pathways you can see are the ones in the foreground. How did they do it? The aliens helped them. o.
Sticky Nicky
I think that if you count an impulse as a coaster, than half-pipes should be as well.
LiquidForce
So before work I needed to get some shopping done for my brothers birthday and I decided to bring my camera along. Even with the below zero temps I still made it out to the mall . A lot has changed since good ol' Camp Snoopy. With only about two months to go before opening day; Nickelodeon Universe is really coming along. There was surprisingly a lot of people in the park going on the rides that were open. Its kind of funny seeing people go on these rides that are half painted and semi taken apart... Well anyways here are the pictures! View from the parking ramp... looks like the cars just came in for the spongebob ride and the tower for the splat o sphere in the background No big deal...its fricken cold outside! Screamin PURPLE eagle... Straight up and straight down Another view Going for an artistic shot with the crane in the foreground Look how close it comes to the ferris wheel while going around the huge support First hill right up in the rafters! Little bump after the loop prob giving a little airtime Heartline roll looking through the loop Cool over-banked turn around Cool shot of the loop Looks like the chain for the lift hill Looks like some cables are holding up the supports for the loop Finally the new Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge! New paint on the cars I think it's going to be called Jimmy Neutron something or another Treetop Tumbler is getting a new grey/silver paint job This looks like the support for the surf board on the half pipe ride Avitar Airbender the new half pipe ride Food court all torn up New store Looks like they just painted over the light bulbs New paint on the swings Another angle of the store New Nick store I like the new paint job on the Mighty Axe Mighty Axe doesn't have its axe anymore... Golfie
^ While we're at it, is Superman at SFMM a roller coaster? Stop - it's pointless. It would make sense that the cars will be installed on Spongebob in the middle of next week. They're in the parking lot, and the station will probably be finished sometime next week, too. I think they will probably Finish with the Footers, Check Track Joints, and Tighten Up all the Bolts before they Put the Trains on the Track. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't Mount the Proximity Switches, Limit Switches, Run the Cables to the PLC, etc and Finish Wiring it Before the Trains Go On. jarmor
WOW thanks for the pics! I wonder why the first drop is elevated off the ground soo high?
Sticky Nicky
I think that because it will be so close to a midway, they wanted the drop to be out of reach from any human unless they somehow got into the ride area themself. It also makes for more room for the rest of the coaster.
kraken613
That loop looks really compact from some of the angles! The EF cars look awsome too!
kraken613
I thinks so too but seem kind of out of place for the theme.
