DILinator
10: I don't know but I'll just say Mean Streak to piss you off. My lack of riding good wooden coasters is so bad, that Apocalypse from SFMM actually sneaks into my Top 10! How lame is that?!?

BelgianBullet
Ok, I'm gonna throw mine in as well. It is based on how the coasters were when I rode them. ambo100
1. Incredible Hulk - Universal Studios Islands of Adventure 2. Flying Dinosaur - Universal Studios Japan 3. Air (Galactica) - Alton Towers 4. Thunder Dolphin - Tokyo Dome City 5. Thirteen - Alton Towers 6. Rita - Alton Towers 7. Dragon Challenge - Universal Studios of Adventure 8. The Scenic Railway - Margate Dreamland 9. Stealth - Thorpe Park 10. Oblivion - Alton Towers I know Nemesis at Alton Towers get's a lot of praise but the I've found it very uncomfortable and the last time I rode it I hit my head quite hard on the headrests and spent the rest of the day in pain. Luckily it was going to be the last ride of the day but it was still a bit dissapointing. I put the The Scenic Railway in there, but that's referring to the original that was burnt down, I haven't had the chance to ride the new one but from I imagine it should be almost identical. Stealth and Oblivion are both great rides that end far too early, it's sad how much energy goes into the launch and lift hills only for both rides to end in a big brake. Just wondering because I like to make discussion rather than just list top tens, so are NTaG and IRat interchangeable or do you definitively prefer IRat? At one point I had the two incredibly close in my rankings but after some really strong rides on NTaG and a pretty "meh" season for IRat I ended up putting NTaG a few spots higher, interchangeable with Maverick and Outlaw Run. Password121
It's always interesting seeing the people on the east coast/Midwest have lists full of RMC coasters, giga coasters/speed coasters with scattered notable B&M's/Intamins compared to those on the west coast with a lot more "variety," let's say. The selection of coasters easily accessible is evident in people's lists. As for my own list I'll wait until after next week because I'm sure it'll be switched around a good bit/made more respectable. LiftThrill
It really is interesting. I'm sort of in an island that includes all the Texas parks and everything else is a distant fantasy. Luckily I was able to do a big trip and snag a ton of awesome midwestish parks, but nothing on the east coast. One day...

My opinion is that there may be a good variety of coasters in the West, but there is not a lot of high quality ones. Twisted Colossus is great, but one of my least favorite RMC's. X2 is an awesome ride, but it's not for everyone. Nothing else stands out to me, although I do love rides on Matterhorn. Wood: 1. El Toro 2. Lightning Rod 3. Pheonix 4. Outlaw Run 5. Boulder Dash 6.
