Wierd is a polite word in my opinion. It looks downright dull, and probably a large kiddie ride. The turns are very tight with little banking on the helix further leads me to speculate the speed won't be very high. It will be interesting to see what the "facts" are.

^Tell me about it, but if you also look, it tells you that the launch actually has some speed behind it because of the banking of the curves immediately after the launch. So that says one thing, there is either a mega trim we can't see or someone didn't do their math right...

Am I the only one getting tired of these mystery companies?

No. It makes things more interesting. When Maverick was announced and the manufacturer was listed as Intaride instrad of Intamin I was actually half hoping it was a different company, just because it would make things more interesting.

However, that doesn't stop me from feeling sorry for the riders of this coaster. It looks badly designed with painfull RCT-ish transitions.

Is their anyway it could possibly be Zamperla, which was the creator of the other thailand slalom. Anyway, im glad to see that thailand is taking such a risk with their coasters, so maybe they might be able to build better coasters like Intamins and Beemers in the future.

The colors are the same and everything, and it kind of screams Zamperla to me. Lets just hop this park doesnt pull a Superman Escape ripoff like Pattycake Funny Park or whatever its called.

It looks like it could be a rip off, but I'm not sure they're so dumb to get so far in the layout without considering whether those bankings are improper. I think they do know what they're doing, since they at least know how to bend the steel and set up the ride. And the banking isn't all that bad IMO, since some rides like wild mouses are able to get away with sharp turns and "minimal" pain.
