dr.gumbo
I have just noticed this new rollercoaster on RCDB... rcdb.com/ig3745.htm?picture=2 ... It looks like a fusion between an Vekoma moterbike, Powder keg and Thunder dolphin with TWO launches. And its also called Slalom (A name the countrys quite fond off). It look quite good, that is if it doesnt beat you up to the brain!
Théo the little french
It looks very interesting!! But unfortunately there isn't many informations about it.....
coastercrazed49
Wierd looking ride. I wonder if it will be fun. Its looks almost like a booster bike.
Thom25
Wierd is a polite word in my opinion. It looks downright dull, and probably a large kiddie ride. The turns are very tight with little banking on the helix further leads me to speculate the speed won't be very high. It will be interesting to see what the "facts" are. bulldogmom
I like the colors anyway... but I like that big Ferris wheel even better
CP_RULES
http://rcdb.com/ig3745.htm?picture=8 From that pic you can see it's not even heartlined.... Wow, this one is a failure.
Vekoma Fan Boy
^Tell me about it, but if you also look, it tells you that the launch actually has some speed behind it because of the banking of the curves immediately after the launch. So that says one thing, there is either a mega trim we can't see or someone didn't do their math right... Am I the only one getting tired of these mystery companies? coasterdude5
The track reminds me of Powderkeg but this can't be S&S, it's design is too poor.
kennywood!007
Such an odd looking coaster!
asr
Am I the only one getting tired of these mystery companies? No. It makes things more interesting. When Maverick was announced and the manufacturer was listed as Intaride instrad of Intamin I was actually half hoping it was a different company, just because it would make things more interesting. However, that doesn't stop me from feeling sorry for the riders of this coaster. It looks badly designed with painfull RCT-ish transitions. LOVE SFKK
Is their anyway it could possibly be Zamperla, which was the creator of the other thailand slalom. Anyway, im glad to see that thailand is taking such a risk with their coasters, so maybe they might be able to build better coasters like Intamins and Beemers in the future. The colors are the same and everything, and it kind of screams Zamperla to me. Lets just hop this park doesnt pull a Superman Escape ripoff like Pattycake Funny Park or whatever its called. stormrider
It looks like it could be a rip off, but I'm not sure they're so dumb to get so far in the layout without considering whether those bankings are improper. I think they do know what they're doing, since they at least know how to bend the steel and set up the ride. And the banking isn't all that bad IMO, since some rides like wild mouses are able to get away with sharp turns and "minimal" pain.

ECZenith
Weird... it'll be interesting to see it operating. This coaster looks like it can't decide what it is.
Gutterflower
im quite looking forward to riding this in a couple of years. When i went past the area a couple of years back it was just some scrap land so anything is an improvement over that. I agree it looks allot like that Zamperla down at Pattaya. thomas2
This looks just wrong. The layout isn't very interesting and the turns are just weird.
Wood Dragon 1988
Well, on the bright side of things, this nearly new park is adding its first two coasters soon. You have to admit, it isn't bad for a brand new park-also considering it's in Thailand, not quite a hotbed for coaster awesomeness.
