Homer
Angry Hog Pig coaster looked fun for a wild mouse type coaster. Do Gerstlauers always make a screeching noise on a hairpin turn? That always seems to freak me out.
Machtin
wow, the parks in Europe are so beautiful. This one especially.Does anyone know how the name of that ride is pronounced? As the un-official official translator of the German part of the Mini-Europe Trip, I feel compelled to answer this question G'Sengste Sau geh ZENGS steh Sauw It means "burning mad pig" in a strange, southern German kind of slang. Nice try, MrMorgan, but not quite right It's more like "Gzenk-teh Zauw" I think. And it's spelled "G'sengte Sau", without the extra-s . Just like Robb spelled it. I like your translation, though Word by word it would be "singed sow". This term is normally used for your typical, "I'm-driving-160-miles-per-hour-on-the-autobahn-LEGALLY" and "why-should-I-slow-down-in-this-turn" kind of driver. When they see one, most Germans will say: "He's driving like a singed sow!" Ok, smart-a$$-mode off. Tripsdrill is awesome. And your photos capture that nicely, Robb! I don't know who's being the smart a$$, but our other German friends also told us it litterally meant "burning mad pig" (as well as a term for someone driving insanely fast.) I thank both you and Morgan for helping translate, but I'm not sure there was any reason to get so nit picky. Sorry Robb, I didn't want to offend anyone. The main reason I wrote was to add the mad-driving thing. Now re-reading it, it really looks like I put the wrong emphasis. Sorry to MrMorgan if I may have sounded a bit offending. No offence intended. Next time I'm trying to refrain from my nit-pickiness.

Like many users on this site, I believe those Europe Fanboys totally went through puberty in the queue at the site of the "HOTTman" woman(someone had to say it, and if it wasn't going to be some 15 year old boy, then I'll go for it). TPDan
I REALLY did enjoy reading this update. It was really very good, Thanks. Im not liking the noise the train makes on the coaster at the end of the sharp turns. Who has a right to complain about the lack of updates, when the updates that happen are awsaume? RCFreak
All I can say is I'm glad I did the tree thing WITHOUT seeing what it did first. Hehe The look on my face says it all, It scared the crap out of me the first time! Man those soggy old boobies made me glad I'm gay. Of course saggy balls won't be any better... Hehe The look on my face says it all, It scared the crap out of me the first time! Unfortunately, I watched a cycle first, but it still is a shocking feeling; even when you know what's coming. By the way, I think it's really funny that no one's telling what it really does. It's like guarding a deep dark secret. Teetle!

Video Vertigo
. . . one time, a guy rode this coaster without a car / train: . . . still one of the most amazing stunts featured on the show. Amazing! Amazing isn't even the word for it - I don't even think there are words for that. I can't even imagine how hard it would be not to fall forward or backward! If there was a competition for Most Creative Fearless Idiot, this guy would get my vote for sure.
BDG
Well, he certainly picked a great ride to do it. From what I remember, that thing is the smoothest roller coaster ever. I think it's because the ride has rubber blocks between the track and supports. Altough the primary reason for that was noise reduction.
DrummingCannoli
^ I wonder if other coaster companies use that method on their coasters since that pic was taken in 2002. I know B&M fill their tracks up with sand for noise reduction too.
Tiburon503
I think it's hilarious that all the teenage boys in line are obviously checking out Wet Hoffman Girl! Question is, how old is the "Wet Hoffman Girl"? That might change the whole reaction from "Oh My God!" styles> to "Oh dear lord!"Hibberd> Relating to this actual thread, the Euro parks seem pretty. I really liked PortAventura (Furius Baco looks beautiful, but you might want a wine barrel after de-training) and Parque Warner Madrid. Mark Shapiro could borrow a few ideas from the latter. Warner's theming could be easily incorporated into a Six Flags park. Then again, that would involve spending real capital on the parks instead of production companies (with little value in an HD future).

robbalvey
Today we were back to Holiday Park, home of my (and Theme Park Review's) favorite roller coaster in the world "Expedition GeForce." Now I'll be honest and say that I didn't think GeForce was running quite up to it's normal self (the trims were on quite hard today), but still GeForce running not quite in top form is still better than any other steel coaster out there! Hopefully next time we visit Holiday Park we can convice them to turn those trims off, so people can experience the world's #1 coaster in true form! Anyway, onto some photos and a video!!! geforce.wmv Robb & Elissa ride Expedition GeForce! (Watch Elissa's hair to see how much insane airtime is on this coaster!) Thanks again to Holiday Park for such a great time on the best coaster in the world!!! We will have some airtime there, please! Yay for the birdseye view....well, actually the Robbeye view.... The faces of people about to plummet to their doom! "Hey Jeff! Hows it going down there at the halfway mark?" Photo by Hanno Roos Yeah, Jeff couldn't quite make the rest of the climb. Photo by Hanno Roos. Thumbs up to Jeff only making it halfway up the lift hill! Random shot of Elissa and one of KidTums' new shirts (thanks to Hanno!) This photo is such an awesome display of many expressions!!! Those hills produce TONS of airtime! Photo by Hanno Roos. Elissa is all gitty! Photo by Rich Elie The first drop kicks total ass! Photo by Dave Lawrence Ok, ok, now what you've all been waiting for! Photo by Dave Lawrence And you can't forget about the BOOBS in the dark ride! Log Flume....THROUGH THE TREES! Yay for Intamin drop towers! Holiday has a nice little buffet of Intamin rides.... Photo by Hanno Roos While absolutely NOTHING dirty is going on here, just simply saying "The Hoffman Girl blows the tomahawk" makes this picture SO erotic! Hair scrunchies for EVERYONE!!! YAY!!! Elissa hit the jackpot on one of those massive ticket machines, so you know what that means, right? Oooh, Piers, baby....now THAT is a sexy look! We always spend so much time in the arcade here! Lou and Hector may *look* calm, but they really are about to poo poo porcupines in rapid fire mode. New since our last visit was the "Starflyer" or as the park calls it "Light House Tower." Basically it's a 200 ft tall chairswing ride! 2nd to the last row - Chris just looks SO confused! That's right! Super Wirbel! The Vekoma Corkscrew!!! We are at Holiday Park...so you know what coaster awaits us right? Photo by Rich Elie geforce.zip Zip file for the FireFox rejects who haven't figured out how to stream yet. Nrthwnd
Hmmmm. I forgot Robb was.... ticklish. (Edit: Park looks great; Ge Force looks AWEsome; Starflyer looks utterly terrifying to me; but hey - hope it's all a part of next year...)
