My favorite sequels that I can think of right now are Pirates:Dead Man's Chest and Psycho II. My least favorites are Legally Blonde 2 and Psycho III. I got so many kicks outta that! Worst? Final Destination 2 & 3... Same idea + nothing original = yawn... The "American Pie" movies- I thought the 2 sequels were just as good as the original. "The Exorcist", which is my all-time favorite horror movie, had the worst sequel ever, I think. Part 3 wasn't too bad- it was actually based on the book "Legion". I have not seen the prequel, although I heard it was pretty bad. A movie as good as the original, I think can never be topped and should just be left alone. I loved the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies- the third one was my favorite. Not that this is to take away the merit that you didn't like it, but the entire series of Back to the Future was, at first, one long movie, but the producers decided to split it into 3, released separately. Forced Sequels (like the hills have eyes 2) almost always suck. WORST: Spiderman 3 (such a letdown), The Matrix: Revolutions, Underworld: Evolution, and basically every movie that didn't have to have a sequel, but did anyways 'just because'.
