Personally I dont see a problem w/ this. If they actually market to various churches around the country then they may get some people thru the gates. I feel it gives orlando a well rounded selection for visitors and something for everyone.

^For once, you totally made me LOL for realz.

^How about a clone of Hades?

Problem: Dante only went through Hell once.

Solution: Put a wall between the two tracks in the tunnel and make one be a true tunnel and the other just a trench.

It does look finished from I4 driving thru Altamonte, but someone told me they've been trying to finish it for years and just don't have the funding.

Is that the blue glass building right on I-4, with the incomplete, open, parking-garage-ish lower levels? We've been passing by that for years, and have always wondered what the deal is with it!

As for HLE, I don't think it's a bad concept, but I agree they need to get some excitement and fun in there.

We're in the Jacksonville area, and this is MAJOR Bible belt land. There are plenty of churchy lafemmes around here that would go there repeatedly, if they offered more in the way of fun.

Yeah, that's it. It's the SuperChannel SuperCenter. They don't have the funding to finish it. It's just a big ol' building. Sitting there. With nothing to do. I think HRC or GLAAD should rally up some funds and buy it just for sheer poetic irony.

^Superchannel is building the building via cash and donations... Which is smart in theory, but why start construction before you are even remotely close to having all the money? I guess they thought God would sort all of the finances out for them. They should just bite the bullet and take out a loan, finish it off, and rent out half the building until they are out of debt -which is probably what they were going to do anyways. Do they really need all that room?

Either that or tear it down!! Im tired of the suns reflection off of the building BLINDING me every time I travel westbound on I-4.

The Superchannel building is no worse the the two Drug Lord Hotels that Westgate finally bought. You know the ones off Universal Blvd and Carrier Drive? Those where under construction for how many years before they stepped in?

Anyway, back to HLE.

You know when this place opened it gave it a top life of 10 years or so. Imagine our shock when they started having problem's within two years, okay so it really wasn't shock. More of "Well, duh folks". There is nothing to draw people in and I've head that the customer service wasn't exactly "great". I can't say from personal experience other then driving by it going "CLOSE already..I wanna go explore it!"

Even with this new move I don't give this park much life. It's in a horrible location which while close to I-4 is not easy to find unless you know where your going and last time I checked didn't have much in the way of signs. Plus without anykind of major attraction they're sitting on borrowed time, it'll be another Splendid China or Heritage USA.

Although when they do go defunct the auction should have a load of interesting stuff!
