When in Medford MA dont take a photo of the Zipper... Or you will be called a Terrorist.... After they asked for my ID (that I didnt give them) they walked with me to my car... And took down my plates for some reason (as I was still laughing at them) He makes me walk over to this other tool and they both start yelling at me... For doing NOTHING... lolz And officer dick runs over to find out what im doing... And starts calling me of all things... a Terrorist!! And here it comes..... So I took a photo of the non-set up Zipper.... ...I love it. Such a fun ride. COBRA!! :D Twister... woo Swinger! The scooters were closed. I bet it has more airtime than MF.... Powered coaster goodness... Go-Gator!!!! Amazing Maze? Round Ups are cool.... I like them. Woo... Cyclone Random kiddie ride. Merry Go Round Tilt-A-Whirl... This is seriously a coincidence, but still very funny! The Medford police force sucks, they're gangs in Medford that most of the police force doesn't know about. My Mom told me about this fair and she said there was no coasters, I hate her for saying that! If they did allow me on the ride, I would have gotten my 19th credit. cfc Posted June 3, 2007 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Hmm--they probably assumed you were a terrorist operative who was "casing" the carnival as a prelude to a future attack when that same carnival sets up in the same place at some undisclosed time. Either that, or you were photographing the Zipper so that you could copy its design for some other nefarious scheme! Perhaps there's a big black market for Zippers and Tilt-a-Whirls. They have to take everything seriously these days, not matter how stupid or insignificant it may seem. I would rather them be safe like they were than not cared at all and a real terrorist came along and did something drastic that could have been prevented. It was probably just what they were told to do if someone is where no one should really be.(not saying you cant take photos of a ride still on a truck, but to the police, what normal person does?)
