Guest
Went to check out Wiggles and the new shows. A rainy day at the park, but loads of fun! Yeah it was running pretty much half empty trains. The front of Demons black train getting washed by nature. Taken by Kyle Scott, me, and Nolan in front of the Spygirl Ampitheater. Showstoppin has a cool set. Memorial Weekend was presented by Geico, so heres a pic with the Gecko. A bit of new signage. I really am not skilled with Nolans camera. Catch the spirit of Six Flags Feel the spirit of America! Guest
-- Big Easy Balloons and Cajun. All clear, get out of here. It's Cajun time! MANNY B! Rocking Mardi Gras in the rain. And to conclude the TR, a picture of Heidi feeding her pet horses (and to think, before this day I always though the only thing horses were good for were making money off of...) Group shot before leaving. See Francois, Hannes (also known as Kirk Hinrich), and I. This is definitley not meant for two adults. It kills when you get smashed by another car Taking a spin on Rue before riding SUF for the last ride. Taking a front row ride on V2. Gig lights up the night. Picture by Kyle. While the wusses went on Fiddlers Fling, the real men went on Iron Wolf. Some Yukon Territory atmosphere.

coastercrazed49
Nice Trip Report, but to bad it was raining. I bet you didn't have to wait in many lines.
KingOfNynex2003
Looks like you guys had a pretty fun time over there. I have always wondered, how is that V2 coaster? I've heard a lot of mixed things about that ride and I would like to hear what you thought of it.
Bob O
I was at the park that day and the rain made for some short lines which was great!!! Â As for V2, I find it kind of boring as you just go up and down the spikes a couple of times, alot of people really like it but for me the ride isnt worth much of a wait when there are far better coasters in the park. Guest
Thanks for the positive feedback. Â how is that V2 coaster? I've heard a lot of mixed things about that ride and I would like to hear what you thought of it. Its....an impulse coaster, not much else to say . Guest
-- Tatsu on TV. Im going to keep the comments about the show to myself....but Spygirl is HOT. Drop, Bull, and Animal Show all in 1 shot. Mad skillz. Demon sign recently re-painted with flames.
Guest
-- Night' Whizzer at night is amazing, dont miss out. The back of the float at the end of the parade. The green Allies Trolley. The red Allies Trolley The park empties out at night, a lot of people go to see Starlight Spectular or ride rides that they have interest in riding again (such as rides that are not Big Easy Balloons or King Chaos). Jesters Wild Ride is extremely popular among park guests. We were going to ride BTR...then realized that Starlight Spectacular had already started so we went over to HTS. This ride gets way too much hate, so its a little rough around the edges. Big deal, it still delivers a great intense ride. Iron Wolf with its normal PM huge line. Top Thrill Dragster
Great TR!!! This park looks to be the best of the Six Flags parks. I wish SFMM would do that capacity sheet.
DarkMeasures
The park worries me in strange ways. Like 10 years ago, it would be a 30 min+ wait on rides even like Demon and Whizzer. Now it seems the only ride with a wait, even on a nice day is Raging Bull which is usually less than 40. Â But I guess that since there are so many coasters now, and the fact that they usually run a couple trains on each coaster, there should be no reason for much of any kind of wait. mcjaco
^ Don't forget the weather sucked on this particular day. Most times there's a good long wait for Batman, S:UF, Deja Vu, V2 and, Ragin' Bull. It's also the beginning of the season while most schools are still in session. Â Nice PTR. Some of the scenic shots are real nice, I love the picture of the Orbit. Â Are you a GBN student? That'd be my alma mater.....way back in the day.
Guest
Hurricane Harbor really sucks people in during the summer now. I remember before it was built the theme park lines were a lot longer during the summer, but now they're not nearly as long. Â The newer pictures that are on page are from yesterday. Heres the wait times during the day along with a few notes from yesterday. Â SUF - 2 trains - 40 minutes. Cajun - 5 cars - 20 minutes. BTR - 2 trains - 15 minutes. V2 - 20 minutes. Iron Wolf - 2 trains - 10 minutes. American Eagle - 4 trains - 8 minutes. Demon - 2 trains - 8 minutes (they were ready to stick on that third train if they had the line for it). DejaVu - 40 minutes. Viper - 2 trains - 15 minutes. Giant Drop - 6 cars - 15 minutes. Raging Bull - 3 trains - 20 minutes. Whizzer - 3 trains - 15 minutes. Â At night all the rides at night were walk ons except DejaVu and SUF. Â And yes I am a recent graduate of Glenbrook North HS. Apparently a popular school for people in the theme park industry (as thats also where Mark Shapiro went)...
mcjaco
^What can you say, but that GBN pumps out very cool people.
bigstevet07
Great TR, any TR with coasters, triple play, and a mention of fiddlers fling gets an A in my book. I haven't been for about 16 years now, and I was wondering if the fling was still around. I need to get out there.
Airtime&Gravity
Great to see SFGAM finally getting everything open. The new stunt show looks great, and they finally got Deja vu and Sky Treck Tower working which are all good things. I haven't been to SFGAM in about a month, so hopefully things are still running well when I return.
