coastermaniac1
B&M will be building another one of their Dive Machine coasters in the new Chimelong Paradise park in China which opened last year. All the parks coasters seem to be clones so I am expecting this to be also a clone. http://rcdb.com/id3930.htm
jarmor
ONly 2 out of the 4 dive machines are clones and those 2 are in different settings...
coastermaniac1
Yes but this park seems to only have clones so I am assuming that this will be a clone, I really hope that it will be a custom layout.
thomas2
Mmh will this have the floorless, 10-across trains or the regular ones... And will it have inversions or not. Oh well time will tell. I'm happy that China is expanding because there's alot of potential there.
IwantRevenge
*coughclonecough* This is defiantly going to be a clone, I mean if you look at all the other coasters at the park they're all clones. Wait didn't Busch Gardens own the rights to Dive Machine?
asr
It was only for North America. Or possibly just for Sheikra's specific layout. One of those, but I'm not sure which.
easytoremember
I think it was in N. America.
coasterfreak101
Busch owns the rights to dive machines in North America for 5 years after SheiKra, I believe. Hopefully this doesn't end up being a clone of Oblivion, this park is kinda reminding me of Six Flags America...all we've got here is clones (with the exception of Wild One)! ECZenith
I'm just happy to hear dive machines are coming back around and being installed at more parks. I have a feeling it will be an Oblivion clone as well.
Johnny Upsidedown
My guess on the Busch rights is this. Only floorless versions of the ride. Its the whole reason why SheiKra was switched to floorless. That way others could build drop coasters just not floorless ones.
ECZenith
I'm pretty sure when Sheikra opened they said they had the rights to "diving coasters" in general.
DATman
I'm pretty sure that there was no proof of these rights at all.
thomas2
Track spotted! I don't know why the date indicates 2004 but it's probably because the camera was reseted or something.
Gutterflower
Nice find Now i doubt its oblivion clone due the height difference of the station to the lowest point. So we could be looking at a new model. although i imagine a small one.
CoasterNut17
^Well, look at all those sections of track with the anti roll back devices on them. If the lift is as steep as Sheikra's, we could be looking at a pretty big dive machine. Anyways, this is going to be cool!
ECZenith
Yay track! Nice find with the photos, I'm assuming these were taken at the manufacturing plant and not the theme park, correct?
thomas2
Yay track! Nice find with the photos, I'm assuming these were taken at the manufacturing plant and not the theme park, correct? I don't know but I assume the factory plant. BTW forgot to add the website I got them from: Themeparkvision.be

hyyyper
^Oh wow! I love those colors! Glad it's not a clone. perhaps it won't have the exact same angles as Sheikra and Griffon, but i'm pretty sure it'll have a splash and perhaps one immelman more and they cloned X's colorsheme
Homer
Busch had the exclusivity rights for the Dive Machine in America from 2005 to 2007. As of 2008, its fair game. Here's proof for the people who think "Exclusivity rights are myths started by enthusiasts." Maybe the years seem like speculation, but the news story made it seem as clear as mud. http://www.sptimes.com/2004/10/28/news_pf/Business/A_sky_high_nose_dive.shtml Busch signed a multiyear exclusive deal for the North American rights to B&M's coasters. ginzo
and so-called hyper coasters that use far taller lift hills and even linear induction motors to propel riders up to 100 mph Negative G-forces hit a face-pulling 4 in the power curve through the bottom of the first hill. Great article!

TexTitan01
^umm...wow it must be an old article...oh wait...it is...nevermind I like how this looks sofar. Love the colors (not so sure about a Pink dive machine...), and they layout looks great. I like how the pullout of the immelman curves more away from the base of the drop, so theres more banking at the bottom. Does anyone know any info of the name?
