ParkTrips
just look at the damn photos I enjoyed this mound of pasta and I hope you enjoyed the first part. This went pretty well, part II will be coming soon... for a first time ever, Cooking *dessert* with Joe toss in some meat balls and sprinkle a little more mozzarella and some red pepper and you've got a meal! then add sauce There. first you gotta drain the pasta... looks like all of the components are together. time to start combining... Next step: heat the sauce a bit. OK so I bought some from Publix and didn't make my own.. I wanted something quick. I added some cheese and spices to make it my own yeah... hot and steamy. I like that. This picture makes the bowl look deceptively small. There was a TON of freaking pasta! I had the stove really packed on this day! testing to make sure the meat wasn't undercooked, that's not dangerous at all speaking of sausage, and of balls, does that look like dacock to anyone? I'm sure Jahan would have enjoyed that piece but I had to fry SOMETHING. This time I went with sausage balls I think a pot of boiling water may be a new addition to the Cooking with Joe series! The weather wasn't too good today so that is why I cooked instead of sun-bathing a quick glance out the window shows no geese in my yard... hmmmm wonder what happened to them... ah yes, back in the kitchen
Meteornotes
What, no fires or calls to the health department? I'm so disappointed. Ah well, hopefully disaster lurks in part two! That actually looked pretty good. If I ate that, I'd be in the ER, though. dt

ginzo
Tip: try saucing the pasta in the pot that you heat the sauce up in. Just dump the pasta on top of the heated sauce, and then stir. This ensures that the sauce is evenly distributed across all of the pasta. Also, try grating some parmigiano reggiano on your pasta. It's expensive, but worth every cent. Louise
Stupid Jow, I'm now craving pasta, sausage, and mozzarella at quarter to three in the morning. Jow, I too am sad at the lack of carnage involved in the preparation of this meal. But relieved that it was cooking and not sunbathing. Imagine that... mcjaco
I must say Joe, this one disappoints. It's an actually tasty looking meal. I'm hoping the desert portion is something like "hot crossed buns with Joe." Wait....we've already seen that. Nevermind.
Cameron
Wonderful, Joe! Good to see some Tortellini love too, it's a very underrated pasta in the US. Cameron.
