benzo41190 Posted May 6, 2007 Share Posted May 6, 2007 So Saturday I went to SFGAm for opening day. The plan was to meet up at Raging Bulls entrance at 10:15. But coaster withdrawal got the better of me and I was drawn to Batman and V2. When I got off Batman, I meet up with TPR member Cameron and we rode V2. By the time we got to Raging Bull, they already go on the ride. So I went on Giant Drop while we waited. Once we all meet up, we walked over to Viper and got in line. We talked and got our ride in. So I will explain the rest of the day in Photo Captions! Have fun! one car up...cameron and my dad A bald guy remembering his childhood as he rides this classic Arrow ride. My Dad, "this was the biggest ride when I was in High School". "I had to wait three hours to ride this ride" Me, "wow your old" next up was Demon...I was a single rider in my own train Everyone else got to ride together. guess who was feeling a like sick It was then time for a flat ride, Orbit! Me and Cameron got off the ride and walked to the rest of the group. During the ride, the whole seat padding was moving around and it freaked me out. BTW, Viper was running amazing! we waited for 1:3...we were next. Cameron, "I missed out of text messaging as a kid so I need to make up for it" we saw a lot of empty seats in the station, while there was a good sized line behind the station. This is where SF needs to become a little smarter when sectioning off the lines. what a happy group! everyone from Midwest Coaster Madness came out of the entrance and we all introduced ourselves. Then it was time for Viper. hold *making funny noise*....then shake the station.... launching train! Cameron, "wow, I really miss that noise" then it was V2...this is the only time I will ride V2. So you can see why I wanted to ride this ride the first ride of 2007!!!! Why do they have to have it say "MAY NOT be opening today"? I think, WILL NOT be open would be a better choice. wooooo! This is it for part 2! stay tunned for 3 "we have to try out all the new rides" the place has OK crowds the frog hopper! Which had a ride op who didnt know what she was doing! It broke when ever we tried riding it. The new stage area My Big Red Cars...complete with Head Lights!!! I want to catch some water... there a fountain thing were I can see almost ALL kids getting soaked in and pissed off parents. This new addition is actually REALLY nice before Eagles mile line, we checked out WIGGLES WORLD!!!! it doesnt get you too wet...but it does feel good. hey lets play in the refresh spray machine! yep, i think were going to wait it out LOL ...yep on the way back we saw something SO unusual it was so out of the ordinary!!! A crane by DeJaVu!! Why would such a thing happend???? we all meet up again at the entrance of Whizzer and deceided to walk back to American Eagle. *making funny sound* random V2... when I was walking back to HomeTown square...I took some random photos.. here is a B:TR shot with no train. Again, I suck at photos. the train stopped while going up the first spike. Then as it was backing up...The Intamin Siren went off. I never got the point of the Siren. Because I think it would scare the GP. Also, I was talking to EuroTre as it happened! After Eagle, me and my dad ate some lunch by V2. And as I was eating I saw this and pulled out my camera! after the ride, we had to walk threw this mile maze again! We said goodbye to Cameron as he left while I took a few more rides on Eagle. Our next ride, and Camerons last ride, was Eagle. It almost our turn! I was actually surprised at how rattley the ride was. I mean, it wasn't painful...but it didn't feel like the smooth Bull i remember. Raging Bull in the sun....I suck at taking photos I wish I could do heartlining like that in No Limits that's good timing! Trains rarely stacked up throughout the day. Its been a long time since Ive seen Bull...like 6 months. Since the rest of the crew went to eat lunch, Cameron, me and my dad went on Raging Bull. The Saga in the American Eagle Entrance! here we go....ummm MANY MORE zigzags... eagle retracking.bmp re tracking on red wasn't good. On the first drop the grease markers zigzagged over the two bunny hill. The one on the left is the normal grease mark. And the one on the right is AE reds side before the helix. The cars shake SO much! This is not go re tracked red side... re tracking was from station to helix only on red weird face kyle were in the station..and guess who was working... red side stairs the world famous sign... we are closer... were now in the old Que line! FINALLY! ...looking back at the line This was a huge pain in the ass....full trains of kids kept jumping over this chain. So the Que kept crowding up And were Still not there yet almost... OMG! How much longer will this last! ..MORE! we have to go ALL THE WAY around Dare Devil Dive! ...no there's more up almost there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So I will do the rest of them tonight when I have more time. Now looking back at those pics of the re-tracking of American Eagle, I really hope they fix it. It was SO rough and the grease trails on the red side zigzag SO MUCH! And you can feel the train bouncing back and forth after the first drop. That's now good at all! And they better fix it because that will cause alot of damage if not fixed. PART 4! Iron Wolf and more Wiggles World! thats all! I would like to thank everyone for coming on opening day. And look forward to future meet ups! leaving the station of Raging Bull... seeing American Eagle lit up! time for the last ride of the night...Raging Bull! it was a good ride! a NEVER before seen shot of the theming on viper pic of Raging Bull at dusk last ride on Viper for the night this is another great flat ride! ricochet time! i dont know what is going on in this pic not another mile! its time to take a final ride on American Eagle! I really wish you were open DeJa Vu! A really bad singer! batman time! In the line some guy blew smoke in our face. We told the Op and she said "was it weed, a blunt.." and then she didn't do anything...it sucked exciting... umm yeah...EXCITED! Spacelys Sprocket Rockets is up next! I got out... the guy on the left is like "WTF"? Dwayne was locked in the fruit salad ride! They lock each cage with a key! it was pretty good! "its time for some revolution" Its been since 2004 since I rode this ride. And it was much better then before. Except for the weird smelly guy that wanted to hold our hands. Then spit all over us! I look so excited in this pic! "I can spin these wheels with my wrists"---random "yeah" my big red airplane ride wiiiiiii! its a slide! ..back in wiggles world, it was time to ride the rest of the rides. ..pretty cool! I wonder what would have happened if they took this out instead of Shockwave? its whizzer time! mmm, greasy batter! right after I took this pic, I saw Golfie and his dad walk in the Whizzer line. Its uncooked funnel cake time! I am keeping this pic for blackmail sometime in the future blurry shot of the cars... I haven't been on this ride since my first visit to SFGAm in 1995. walking to Rue Le Dodge "SECURE ALL LOOSE ARTICLES" this cell phone fell, bounced back up, then exploded, sending the battery 10 feet away! its the now CRAP king kaos. The program is ever shorter! Rotate, back flip, face first hold, THATS IT! It doesn't have the 5 in a row back flip program! the big easy balloons ...the fun little Jesters Wild Ride! ..a nice, random pic of V2... ..because it gives you a warm dry spot to dry your hands off with! WEAR LIFEJACKETS! Next was the Roaring Rapids...Everyone else but us went on Raging Cajun! I cant see why? Its 50 degrees out! me and Dwayne on the Yankee Clipper Then it was time for the Yankee Clipper...Er I mean Ice Mountain Splash...Oh wait, its Yankee Clipper again! we had an OK ride on it. But it gave my knee alot pain when walking off. Also, when I'm standing straight up, I'm too tall for the restraint. So I have to kneel when the seat lock, and that hurts my knees. An OK shot of Iron Wolf. I'm getting better a photography LOL Road with Iron Wolf... it had a decent sized line...for Iron Wolf anyway. our next ride of the day was Iron Wolf! Besides the 1000 mile hike, its a terrible ride..with terrible trains..and terrible track..its terrible (although, for the olduns out there, I'm sure it was great...whenever it was great..) When I sat in the first car, first row, I had an amazing ride. The whole ride I was screaming "Holy SH*t" and "OMG Oh Sh*t.....AIRTIME" It was the best ride on eagle Ive ever had! Also, I really feel embarrassed for messing up the names From the "happy group" picture, can someone please put names in from left to right. I just want to make sure I have it straight!
