Hey guys, I finally got screens of my RCT2 work. This is Crystal River Park, and old park I started years ago. I recently re-opened it and am beginning to Rehab to the park, taking out the old un-themed, or horrible looking rides, and putting in new, better built and themed rides. i'll show you each ride as it's built with a little bit of the old park inbetween

A little history of the park itself:

Opened in 1902 with only a small woodie and a couple of shops Crystal river park had struggled through the times to keep up. In 1980 it was purchased by a small chain (who is no longer around) who brough the park out of it's hole building bigger rides that made the park known. However in 200 the company went bankrupt and the park went into disrepair, until a new park chian B-level amusement (my chain) purchased the park and began to turn it into what we see now. They added an Dive Machine in 2006 and The comapny says they have something special planned for 2007!

*sorry for the picture quality, the computer with RCT2 is old and doesn't have internet so I had to take the pictures with a camera*

Update part 1! 4/30/07

The park just annouced their 2007 ride: Spitfire.

4/30/07 - Prepare yourself as Crystal River Park prepares to unleash their new attraction, Spitfire! and intamin accelrator. The ride is 190ft tall and launches riders from 0-75mph in just over 3secs. The park has a history of trying to get taller rides and have constantly topped each one, of course with the parks height restrictions (they cannot build over 200ft) this may be the last tall one for a while. The ride is part of a retheme of that area of park form a mechanical theme to an old ghost town. The sotry behind the ride has not yet been released, but construction has begun and the first top hat is in place

From the sound of that it sounds almost like a stealth clone, I sure hope not. THis is the offcial logo, I'm not a fan what do you guys think?

Update part 2 4/30/07: the rest of the park

okay I know it's weird to have 2 updates in one day so this is update part 2. This the rest of the park and some of the work i've done already to improve it.

The aprk has a height restriction set by the town of 200ft, at firs tit was fine, but now as larger and larger coaster keep being builts it's becomnig a hassle so the park has been fighitng for a while to get it raised by 50ft.

The other coasters in the park are:

Crystal River Twister: A fairly new intamin plug and play, with a balder inspired layout, and supposedly airtime rivaling balder

Timber: a Gravity Group woodie terrained deep into the forests of the park.

Pluto: A small Kanonen inspired accelerator. Currently the most popular ride in the park (by # of guests favorites)

Toxicity: The First B&M launched coaster, but is plauged by technical problems, and is roumered to leave soon.

Toxicity is plauged with techinical problems, and has some very bad themeing

The ride interacts very well with the parks free fall named powerblast

pluto is very small and forceful, the woodie in the back is Timber

It's station is also the guests relations building, and is themed to an old town center.

Based on blader the airtime is roumered to rvial balders. Crystal River Twister is the first thing people in the park see

Crystal river twister has a very unique layout, this turn comes after 2 very small ejector airtime hills in the white building.

I love Pluto's entrance. The only thing I don't like about it is how the line has so many TV's! Take out some and I guarantee it will look better. Also Crystal River twister looks very fun. I love the entrance to that also. The only thing I don't like about that area is the path you have there. It looks terrible IMO. It also makes it look waaaay too cluttered there. Other than that, very nice park, you deffinately have some potential.

sorry for the double but I have pics of Spitfires construction.

Again it looks an awful lot like a stealth clone but I noticed the ride was not done after what they have. in stead of a brake run after the airtime hill, there is a turn, and I keep hearing roumors of it have 1 or 2 inversions...we'll just have to see.

Hmm...whats this!

sorry for the large delay, I haven't had much time to do RCT lately.

Breaking News Update! Spitfires layout is completed. I am happy to say it's not a mirrored Stealth Clone! and It has an inversion, which is a very unique looking dive loop The bad thing about spitfire is the theming which is a little...un imaginative, it's going to be themed to a race track and will be the main attraction of the area, joining it is a unknown flat named Burnout which has yet to be announced.

PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK ON THE LAYOUT, I AM WILLING TO CHANGE IF NESSESARY

I don't think I mentioned that this is a very small park...

A look at der stats

DSC00517.JPG.dfcc1e6c0e9a1a8ceef7ad93526d6ae2.JPG

They started testing a day later!

DSC00508.JPG.dbdb48b60a281b2eb2daa9b19e91bf6c.JPG

after the airtime hill you get a short twister section :)

DSC00507.JPG.8afbc881d7ec210e6a988fb2ed5b571a.JPG

After the turn you go up into this 105ft tall very unique looking dive loop, then an ejector(?) airtime hill

DSC00506.JPG.2cb4dab45fdf1ea31b52a2045c8e7a3d.JPG

so after the launch, the top, hat and the airtime hill you move onto this sweeping drop which skims the edge of the water.
