PKIDelirium
Everything in the park looks good, except for the removal of the clock. WTF? You're operating an amusement park here, not a Vegas casino. That clock is NEVER finished during preseason. It and the Floral Date display will be set up within the next 2-3 weeks.
ginzo
I'm glad that the clock is staying because I use it.
PKI Jizzman
The clock is like....one of the things I really remember from KI, so it better be staying. IceDragon - I would be on Dragon's Fury instead of Vampire! But it would be a unique experiance to try Top Gun floorless. But it kicks butt just the way it is! Masked_Maverick
Great PTR. I hope to get one when (and if) I go to CP next saturday I have been dieing to do a PTR myself.
Shockwave
Top Gun is a true swinging suspended coaster... Why does the Vampire not swing? BECAUSE THEY GOT RID OF THE TRAINS WITH THE FLOOR!!!! Err, no. For a start, the Vampire does swing, and second they're both Arrow suspended coasters. The only difference is that Vampire got the Vekoma trains to change to ride experience and make it more accesible to younger riders. I miss the old trains, but be realistic here. Anyway, back on topic I'll be going to Kings Island on a weekday in June, so hopefully the crowds won't be too bad, depending on whether any school parties will be visiting. PKI Jizzman
^Usually school/parties from whereever are done in May, so if you go on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you should be fine!

It looks amazing now, but imagine... Wow!
PKI Jizzman
^Some AWESOME foot shoppers! But the station would have to be redone, and everything. Another thing! Accelerator is on a bunch of souvonier cups. Not the name, just a pic of the coaster! WTF?

Carnage
Alexander Nagel - Every picture can't be perfect! Just skip over them if you dont like em! Just a bit of constructive criticism. But trimming your TR down to a readable size will get you more readers and comments. Posting just about every picture you took is just going to get people to start skimming, and not reading your captions. Not too mention that some were super blurry or repeats. 150 pictuers is ALOT of pictures. It's just sheer overkill. Quantity over quality is the way to go. Just trying to give you a suggestion. PKI Jizzman
^Meh, I'm waiting for SOB to replace that pic. I havent used that in any of my TR's One last FaceOff pic. Badasssss
BeemerBoy
150 pictuers is ALOT of pictures. It's just sheer overkill. I only made it through about 15 or so, and although some were decent shots, I really only needed a few to realize this park still sucks. Scott "just my .02, I could be wrong" B. PKI Jizzman
I think it is a great park. But there is always negativity in the crowd. And there are always good comment and bad comments, sure some repeats and blurry shots. But whatever. Just bringing my trip to TPR.

PKI Jizzman
Hey, I noticed this in my pic the other day. Italian Job had TWO trains running the circuit at the SAME time. I have NEVER seen this done before with such a short circuit. Has anyone seen this before? Even though on had just started and the other just finishing, I had never seen this before. Has anyone else? -Zach 'I hope this isn't a stupid question' Trains are circled. Never seen this before.....
Carnage
Not at KI. Though I've only been there once in the last couple years. But I've seen CWs Italian Job have two trains on the circuit many times.

PKI Jizzman
^^ That's what I was thinking. I always remembered all trains in station, then seconds later another dispatching. Never rememeber seeing two trains on at once. ^Thanks a lot man! -Zach "Hmm...two on at once sounds good!" B
OldJJman
On Media day, and the one day I was there last year (early June) all three trains were running. The helicopter attack is not just a scene, but a block. Once the train dives in, it has cleared the block and another train can be dispatched. IIRC, Jeff Siebert told us about the block in the tunnel before the splashdown. Once a train has cleared the tunnel (prog switches inside) then the train above in the helicopter attack can safely be dispatched. Essentially, it can run 4 trains, but it's not thought to be, and never was practical to do so, due to load/unload times.
PKI Jizzman
^True, True. I have been stopped in the helicopter scene, and I think everyone can see the brakes coming out of the bill board. Isn't it a trim?
pkd804
I'm a bit late but I saw this topic and clicked it. Kings Island looks like such a nicer park than Kings Dominion is. Kings Dominion has really sucked the past few years.
PKI Jizzman
Kings Dominion still looks like a fun park to me! ...or maybe because it has Volcano

pkd804
When it's your home park and you've been there so many times, it's not. I wish our park would change faster like Kings Island is and all the other former Paramount Parks. We seem to be the slowest changing park. I have also just recently gotten a job at Kings Dominion...Kings Dominion is fun at times, but it's really hard to have fun. Edit: ^Wait a minute...You say you were there just this past weekend? Was it on a Sunday? I saw a guy wearing an ACE jacket with a lady in the Volcano que line when the park opened. I think they took the back seat. Then I saw them again at Anaconda a few minutes later and once again took the back seat. I was on the same train and I overheard this dude say his restraint was loosening on the ride. Was that you with the ACE jacket? If not, forget what I said.
