piers Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 So my plans over the last few weeks to visit Chessington for the first time went out the window when my friend Danielle decided she had to go to Wales to hook up with some woman. So we ended up doing Coney beach, Oakwood and a tiny place for the evening called mumble's pier. There were no rides at mumbles but it was a giggle for half an hour while we waited for the non-existent lesbian! Anyway, on with the show! Edit: Gosh, I seem to have posted these backwards! So sorry, please start at the bottom. Thanks. Welcome to Wales-And my very first PTR! The journey was not too long but not exciting. I found being a cowboy helped. Coney Beach, excitment! First credit of the year. Hope its good! Agony! Effy, we all got pain! Mega blitz tried to kill me! This is what is kept under Piers!! Mid-fall! I like how she blended with the slide! Monkey buisiness. Goodnight Wales. Mornin' gorgeous! Somewhere across a field is Oakwood! I'm in the front row, not that there is anyway of identifying me. Nice strong helix, rocks! Speed, No limits goodness. Megaphobia with me onboard. Alone, my lesbian refused to come on this aswell. Spooky 3d was suprisingly not too spooky or 3d but a good giggle which made our trip to Oakwood last slightly longer than an hour. Can anyone look hot in these! This guy had something seriously wrong with his inner thigh! No wet revenge for me today, Hydra was down! boo! OMFG how is this possible? More like how is this believable? Hhmmm! Not so magic. All looks ok going up Treetops mini lift hill. Her second/probably last credit, is the face joy or fear, you decide. On-ride Treetops coaster. Much fance. Turnaround, full of strangers. Sexy loopage, found this uniquely forceful! B-b-b-bounce Pirates, arrrgh. Megaphobia, is this the fear of big? Bounce and Speed, No Limits in distance. Lunch menu, vile! Not good, actually vile, but cheap for park food. £7.98 for it all. Megaphobia from out lunch spot. Nel looks very happy after lunch. Do not take drink of the island!! Skycoaster which no one went on, probably because it was £33. Can anyone photoshop out any of my chins? Myspace anyone? Brer Rabbit onride is very unflattering! What did you think of Megafobia (with an 'f'! ) The food in Oakwood is alright, its getting better, but its what you get in a theme park thats not well known. I think she looks pretty too!! Glad you had fun at Oakwood and didn't die at Coney Beach. Oakwood is near the top of the list of UK parks I'd like to re-visit this year, Speed was one of my favourite new coasters from the UK Trip. When I studied in England for a semester, our home stay before the semester started was in Swansea, but all the homes in which we were placed was in Mumbles. peter_rowland1 Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 I visited oakwood for opening day this year got to ride Speed and megafobia 12 times each because both my boys are finaly 1.25m my 6yr old daughter dragged my wife and I on the treetops 10 times got completely soaked and killed my mobile phone riding hydro 5 times. a good day had by all.....loved seeing the pics of coney beach was a ride op there when I was a kid ohhhhh what memories lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
