sfmmFREAK
This ride has been under construction for like, 247868 years.
arrowfanman
^^ Hasn't officially been announced yet. June 11th is the most rumored date, but there are just as many rumors that it'll open late. But the most rumored date is June 11th, with a few days of soft openings before it. Going on June 6th, I honestly dont think it'll be open for you. Sorry. -Jahan
Xtreme-me
Thanks anyways. Arent they already testing it though?
arrowfanman
There's pictures of them testing the subs, but the show effects are still finishing installment and testing. What I'm trying to say, is nobody knows! But I wouldn't count on anything, to be safe. -Jahan
Wes
Thanks anyways. Arent they already testing it though? Disney has a very long and thorough testing period for new rides. Sometimes they are testing ride systems 6-9 months out from their opening date. With Nemo being under extremely tight schedules at this point, don't expect it to be open to the general public before the stated opening date (June 11). Zen Coaster
Been following this closely, looks like it will be pretty cool. Can't wait to hit it in my week in SoCal with Allison Alvarez and her brother before we go on the midwest trip!
chmilo24
I heard that it will be opened at around the 4th of July weekend, they still need to finish the scenery, test, ad water, test ride in water, and get the system down.
dino
Was just at Disneyland last week and all of the advertisements say it's opening on june 11th. On the Disney AP website though they're having a drawing to get a sneak peek ride on june 6th and 7th .
Alpenguy
A TON of hardcore Disney fanatics will show up on June 11th, I'm scared to think of how long the line will be the first few days. It's expected to be around a 3 hour wait during the summer.
DegoRed
AP members should be getting little postcards in the mail as well, I just got mine today. That's kind of strange how the AP preview days are not open to all members, like they have been in the past Just those that win this special drawing. They must think that they'll have way too many people show up, and the lines will be crazy if they open it up to all APs those 2 days. Hope I win AP members have until May 28th to register for this, and the card also says nothing of an official opening date to the public, but the 11th sounds pretty reasonable at this point
Jew
^That's Disney's strategy: get as many AP'ers on the ride before it opens so they will stay out of the line when it's open for the GP. I heard they are planning on doing early entry for hotel guests again to get them out of the way from the GP as well. ^^3 hours? I think that's a conservative estimate. All the reports say that the best the ride will be able to do is 1,000pph and no fastpass. I feel bad for the CM's who are going to have to deal with that. PirateTinkerbell
I think it is definetly the 11th. There are banners up at the Disneyland Resort that say "Resurfacing June 11"

If the subs got the lines that Monsters Inc got when that was open for AP, chances are lines would end up running around 3 hours.
Xtreme-me
I really hope this ride is open on the Sixth. I only go to DL every couple years and it would really suck if it wasnt open. Finding Nemo, along with the Pirates movies are my favorite disney movies ever and so I really really want to try out FN. I guess all I can do is pray . Seriously though, I've seen the ride testing SOOOOOO many times that its unbelievable. I would have thought it would be open by around this time. They've been building that ride for what seems like an eternity. (Oh, I also have problems with my knees so I am able to recieve a handicap pass so the lines arent very much of a problem for me)
rosscoe
A T.V station in Australia is giving a family a chance to win and trip and do a report live from Disneyland to air in Australia June 11th. Which means the story will be done your time June 10th, the prize is to be there for the opening of the new ride.
Wes
I really hope this ride is open on the Sixth. I only go to DL every couple years and it would really suck if it wasnt open. It will be open, but only for reserved tickets for Annual Pass holders. (Oh, I also have problems with my knees so I am able to recieve a handicap pass so the lines arent very much of a problem for me) You're going to be in for a nice surprise when you see what the the handicapped line on Pirates is like. Have fun waiting.
socalMAN123
^ Heh, the handicap line for Pirates usually takes longer than the line itself! Anywho, chances are it will soft open on the 10th, seeing that's what Disney usually does. But, they might not and it could just open on June 11th as planned without any soft openings. ---Brent
Ryan King
Disney HAS confirmed that the ride WILL be open on June 11th. Although..the ride WILL NOT open with the park that morning. It will open around noon-time. And Im soo going to be there. -Ryan
kidaftersunset
(Oh, I also have problems with my knees so I am able to recieve a handicap pass so the lines arent very much of a problem for me) Just so you know, you will most likely be forced to wait in the regular line as it will be fully wheel chair accessible. Also, if you aren't fully ambulatory you will watch the video instead of riding in a sub.
Wes
^ Which is great! They are also currently widening areas of the Indiana Jones queue so it will be ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. Anything to cut down on the cheating that occurs with the current system (coughxtrememecough).
kidaftersunset
^ Exactly! It's a beautiful thing! Let me tell you though, guests in wheelchairs often don't like when we tell them they have to wait because the queue is fully complaint. But hey, at Disneyland, we believe in full inclusion for everybody ... to enjoy the line.
Xtreme-me
Im Ambulatory but I cant be on my legs for too long or else they really start to hurt. Well, I can hope for it to be open but I wont count on it
