kraken613 Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 Just got back from my first trip to Dollywood! Mystery Mine is amazing it so fun. I like all the little suprises in the mine! I was so sad because i got back every time they wouldn't let me get front. Rode it 4 times the shortest wait it got to my knowledge was like 10 minutes but it really moves. Maybe ill get front on Thursday when i go agin. I asked the op and he said it will be open the whole time up to Friday. This is a must do because it has so many unique feelings through out it. I have to say, the ride gets better and better. I was also excited to get some night rides on MM and folks, at night there is no light at the end of the tunnel but in the day time its another story! I was also on the quest to solve the mystery that black folks do go to the park and the mystery is finished! It was more black folks there than I have ever seen in all my combined days at the park! Anyway here are the pics! Lucky for me the song that is going to be on the led zeppelin coaster came on the radio! I must, from looking at the layout perfect song choice! Thats all folks...hummm...is it me but does it seem like there room for one more ride name heh heh... Gotta give the flowers some love also! Scary... Cool huh... Back side of the mine. Even CLOSER view of the sign and the moon! Closer view of the sign and the moon... Yeah...what would this tr be w/o a pic of me! ...in the misty, mystery mine... Signage... Approaching the mine The mystery is over...we now know what color the sign glows! Which is odd because all the advertisement is in green! The tall will ferrell looking guy in the middle paid like 150.00 for that mystery mine jacket... Dont whistle in the mystery mine for danger you may meet... The un secure themeing in the station Ha ha exclusive shot#4 Anyone who can guess what item that nail is at the park...email dan! The expression of the dude in the bottom left is priceless and the chick has given him the "enough already" arm fold lol! But he wouldnt shut up! Noticed the look on everyones' face...they are all like "dude, shut the f&@k up already!" For those of you who say the tressle isnt themed... I have NEVER seen this before...and it was quite common throughout the whole park! Exclusive shot #3 And their off... Exclusive shot #2 I must say...it was a wild ride! I have never been on this so I decided to give it a spin! Back to black...caught her sleeping! Exclusive shot! Lets see... uh ohh...whats wrong with TT? even working at the park! I dont wanna ever here someone say black folks dont go to dollywood, even if they were probably there for the special events held that day lol. And now a group... Whoo hoo a female... Great PTR....lol at you finding the black folks AND a BIGGER BAAHAAAAAA to the photos of Matt yapping his cake hole...you forgot to add the annoying high pitched lisping that went with his voice. Dude...im sick right now for thinking that I wasnt gonna get wet and riding at around 6 pm would be a good idea...I was totally drenched and it was only 3 of us!! mlambert21 Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 One hint is to get there early if park says opening at 9am the gates open at 8:30. Go immediately to the Q2Q and get one it is worth the money on the weekends. And as soon as rides come up go ahead and put MM on it. But as to this weekend it will not be as crowded as last but still expecting a very large crowd. The festival is over so that should help out some. And cheap season passes are over also.
