DarkStitch626
They have some odd collection of coasters at this park...Parc Saint Paul.. One coaster gets me though, its called Looping...and its a "Powered" coaster with a "loop" Has anyone ever ridden this or seen it? http://www.rcdb.com/ig2387.htm?picture=12 This thing looks like a kiddie coaster gone mad! Other odd facts include its BELT driven wheels... http://p2.rcdb.com/picmax/parc-saint-paul/looping8.jpg
christianscoasters
That place does have some pretty messed up coasters. Especially Telepherique. I've never seen a suspended spinning stand-up before. The Wild Train is pretty wierd too. P.S. I think we need to have an official thread for parks with "messed-up" coasters. I've seen several frequently.
kennywood!007
Lol that is really crazy looking! I looked at it right away and thought theres gotta be some headbanging. Then I saw this picture in its gallery. lol http://www.rcdb.com/ig2387.htm?picture=2 ^Guy in the first row, on the left.

Where's the soft and cuddly harnesses we've come to know and love?

sio
This coaster was pretty horrible. I rode it before it has an accident. A man is in the coma. The train detached itself at the top of the loop and wagons fell on the ground. I remember that 6 or 7 peoples were injured. it will be soon dismounted. "Telepherique" is not a coaster. In France there is a lot of Gardens or playgrounds which have that type of attraction. There is often a tire where you can sit down or remain stand
christianscoasters
http://www.rcdb.com/ig2387.htm?picture=2 This picture was linked earlier. Look at the front wheel, first car on YOUR right (riders left). It's not even on the tracks!!! Now look at car 2 maybe 3. The safety wheel on the bottom is kinda far from the track. This ride has to be one of the roughest out there.
DarkStitch626
Actually its got belt drives on the wheels so the wheels Are on the tracks, the wheels are on the inner rim of the track. As shown here http://www.rcdb.com/ig2387.htm?picture=

A half powered looper with metal restrants and a guy that's trying to stop headbanging makes this ride an exciting, smooth ride ! Now all I have to say is what will PAX and the other obscure companys think of next?
waterviper
Telepherique is a Lawyers wet dream if that was in the states!! http://www.rcdb.com/ig3148.htm?picture=1 I would concider this a credit. I mean it is reletively no different then Spellbreaker which used to be at Legoland California. It is gravity drivin, its on a track (connected somehow. So alpine slides dont count.) and its at an established amusement park of some kind (carnivals and fairs included)...VOILA credit!!! At least it is to me! ECZenith
Yay for weird PAX coasters. I wanna try one of those wild trains so bad...
the sound
LOL! That looks pretty good. Wait... is it even a credit?
sio
Wild Train is a funny ride. Wait, those are NOT credits? It count for rcdb but it's even less a coaster than an Alpine for me. You can make your Parc Saint Paul at home. You may have: -A garden -A dragon made with paperboard -3 or 4 steel tubes and you ask your grandmother to sew a mascot. verticalzero
This does look like a unique coaster with no lift hill. Hope it will be working this season as it's been SBNO since 2006.
