trustkill22
Been There, Done That  Earlier this winter we had a wicked ice storm that we got school of. It was pretty cool because a bunch of kids went skating up and down the middle of the street.  And  In Southern Ontario we just got killed with snow so we have a good 3 feet of snow in my backyard. Gonna have a blast with that. Â We didn't have the freezing rain.
Hercules
Eh, I've seen worse than this. I did call out of work today though. It was good to get a day off, but I am now looking at grad schools, doing resumes and cover letters for part time jobs and studying for my microeconomics test for tomorrow. okinawaboy11
Yeah that storm hit us last night. The roads are a mess. First it snowed, then sleeted, then stopped, then froze, then sleeted more, then snowed more. It was crazy.

Calaway Park
At our school, it has to be at least -45 for the schools to close. Celsius. Wind chill doesn't matter.

Skier
Dayton got more snow with the ice on top.... it is nasty crap. But low single digits may give us an extra snow day in the morning.

crazyrider06
Yeah so Connecticut got gipped (sp) on the snow once again. After calling for 5 inches of more, it was a disappointment to see that we only got around 2, and most of it was ice. So upsetting
Real
Sorry, Ohio took up most of it. In my area, around 9-12 inches. I almost had my work canceled (UPS!) but they lifted our level 3 emergencies just as we were going to think about closing up that shift. Â Apparently no one else got that memo or lied to have a day off. So we ran the operation with as few people as possible.
griffon
Yea, it's been pretty pathetic in Central Virginia, though we usually don't get a lot of snow. It was below freezing for 3 days straight then warmed up and rained for a day, now it's back below freezing for the next 3 days
